We had a lovely time there as a family, lovely warm welcome, brilliant laugh with the manager, and the 2 ladies in his team. So helpful, quick to respond and provided us with extras if we needed them, all 3 were super lovely and made our stay a wonderful one!!. Even came and tuned the remote when it stopped working 😂 Loved the breakfast!!! I'm quite fussy with my bacon but this was a good cut and cooked perfectly. Loved the restaurant, cosy, well decorated. Good choice of fresh fruits and loved the blueberries and strawberries each morning with a choice of youghurt. Servicing of the room at no additional cost- really helpful especially after bringing traces of beach back afterwards (sand is hard to shake off) The beds were comfy too, good vent system in the bath, brilliant fan, no limescale in the kettle (YESSS) I could go on and on. Definitely would recommend.

Bitter sweet, would have loved if it was closer to the beach especially when you got a little one HOWEVER it's was down the road from co-op, Asda, coach/train station and a corner shop so in reality there is nothing to dislike!!

The staff - welcoming and friendly. Room - clean and plenty big enough for our needs (2 adults 2 children). Mattresses - clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee etc provided. Mini fridge, great for a summer stay. Bay type window, lovely for letting air in - blinds and net curtains maintained privacy. Fan provided. Communal areas - clean. Location - train station, town and beach all within walking distance.

Ensuite was tiny for a group of 4 and needs a deep clean. Shower difficult to operate when wet and set off smoke alarm if door wasn't shut because of how hot it got. Doors/keys fiddly, could be an issue if someone was not on hand (in our case staff members were on hand and examined locks immediately). Pillows not hotel quality (thin and lumpy - but plenty of cushions provided to get comfy). Single beds on wheels not very safe. Breakfast not included as standard.

Great little b&b 10mins from East Cliff Room had everything we needed and was just what we needed for a night away when we knew we'd be out for the evening. Chris let us carry on using the parking whilst we went for a wander on Sunday morning after checkout. Parking was on the road - this was fine as we managed to bag a spot but it meant we didn't want to move the car and risk losing it. Nothing can be done about this and it wouldn't stop me from staying again.

Check-In went really well, we were warmly welcomed and shown into our room. The room just has about everything you need, we booked ours with an en-suite bathroom. Hotel staff is absolutely friendly, we really enjoyed the breakfast prepared (included) and the location is really great as well as it is just opposite the train station.

Lovely family room with good facilities - tea, coffee, kettle, mini fridge and fan plus free parking outside with a permit. Chris and co who ran it were very friendly and welcoming and offered us great recommendations on places to visit and eat. We paid for breakfast during our stay and on both mornings it was top notch! A good choice of cereals or fruit, you could help yourself to tea, coffee or juices and then you could order full English or vegetarian alternative and that came with a rack of toast. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back and recommend.

It was a 15-20 minute walk down to beach front. Which was fine for us but some may find it a little bit far out.

What I love about this hotel is the fact that it’s very homely and the staffs are really accommodating and just so lovely ! I would book this hotel again when I go back to Bournemouth. Our girls just loved it so much too . The room is very clean and beds are so comfortable. AND THE BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT!!! Love it xx Thank you Chelsea Hotel . We will be back for sure !!! Xx

I think - the property can do one room as a waiting room or a room where you can just hang out , read , watch tv and have a coffee . All in all , IT IS VERY homely and very lovely staffs xx

The host (can’t remember his name) made us feel welcome from the day we arrived, he sorted us a permit to park and made sure everything was okay. The room was very clean and spacious and came with a fridge which doesn’t come with a lot of gore room we’ve had in the past. Supermarket and fast food around the area helped as we didn’t have to worry about supplies for our son. We would defo still stay here again.

The location of the property isn’t the best, the neighbourhood was quite loud during the night with people talking and shouting down the street, parking was a bit crap but we managed to find a space. It appealed to us as a family hotel but we got caught short as there was a few parties staying the same nights as us so they woke my lad up a few times coming in late night etc. The pillows was uncomfortable but that’s just our taste compared to what we have at home.

A lovely warm welcome instantly made us feel at home for a one night stopover. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Fresh fruit, cereals and very good full English breakfast set us up for the day.

Hard to fault the place really. The property is well kept, very clean but the area is a little run down. a hairdryer in the room would have been a bonus and I discovered that my room key allowed me to access the room opposite. Whoops. Could have been more embarrassing than it was.

The breakfast was excellent and the room was comfortable. It was a short walk to the pubs and restaurants.

There are only so many parking permits issued by the hotel and we arrived too late to get one so had to park at least a five minute walk away. This was a little disappointing as we booked months in advance and the hotel said parking was available.

Cannot fault our stay here. Room 9- brand new modern bathroom & comfyest bed. Fan and fridge in the room we're a life saver in the heat! Chris also fetched us a firestick to watch films on. Everything from start to finish was above and beyond. Chris really went the extra mile with everything we could need. The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The service from both ladies at breakfast were so helpful and lovely. The place really made our little break away that much better. Will definatly be recommending this place to others that visit Bournemouth. Lovely modern decor throughout. Very grateful for all the extras that Chris accommodated us with.
