The room was lovely with a quality finish...which included a mini fridge/ shop!...with complimentary fresh milk and waters...everything else was extra, but such a great choice. The food was superb due to the attentive chef...steaks cooked to perfection!!...(as was breakfast)... signed up for their loyalty card and got an extra 25% off as it was a Wednesday special. Everything is high end...tea bags/ coffee/ biscuts/toiletries etc. Outside patio was lovely...you wouldn't believe it was on a crossroads. Fan supplied for heatwave! Background classical music playing when shown to room.

Struggled with this as the staff were lovely and friendly...however should have been more attentive.ie had to go to bar to order more drinks during meal and not offered a dessert menu, so we didn't bother. In morning we were taken to table and asked if we would like tea/coffee and ordered main breakfast but not then told to help yourself to cereals etc. Bed was a bit firm for us. Room was on main road but noise didn't affect our sleep.

Friendly staff, excellent comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, shampoo, hand cream etc. Also coffee & cafietere in room with fridge with extras you could purchase. Had dyson fan & access to netflix & prime on tv. Excellent choices for breakfast, well cooked & well presented. Staff very amenable. All food cooked & presented well & tasted lovely. Everywhere clean & tidy. Room was spotless

No teabags in room. Milk was full fat everywhere in hotel, no choice of semi skimmed, skimed etc No sweeteners in room or dining room These are only small issues, as rest of stay was amazing. Thank you

Rooms: We loved the style of the rooms, very clean , lovely smelling toiletries, very accommodating for doggies and decent Dyson fan which suited us as we always sleep with fan on. They provided doggie bowls, shampoo and towel :-) Staff: We didn’t take the man’s name who checked us in but he was very nice, informative and helpful with all our requests. He was also working at the bar the evening we arrived and made lovely cocktails. All the bar and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating / flexible - we couldn’t ask for better service. We stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast lunch and dinner at Pavilion arms as our puppy felt the most relaxed and at home here. Food: our favourite was breakfast and the fish and chips - so good. We enjoyed our dinner here too. We stayed here on last Thursday of the month which was salsa night so they had a band and special - this was good fun. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back again!

We loved everything

We usually avoid rooms in pubs but we chose 'The Pavilion Arms' as it is just round the corner from our daughter who we were visiting. We were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was especially after being greeted on our arrival by a full pub garden of people enjoying the warm weather. The room was comfortable and clean and we were very grateful for the fan that was provided. Breakfast was excellent - cooked to order with a lot of choice - and served by absolutely lovely breakfast staff. It's also a really good pub with a great outdoor space so it was a nice to be able to enjoy a couple of drinks on the terrace after our meal out. We will be happy to return. :-)

A bit nit-picky but house-keeping could be a little better - for example, there was no milk in the fridge so we couldn't have a cup of tea in our room in the morning. We would have been able to go down to get some though so just a minor inconvenience really.

Room (1st floor, end of corridor, can't recall the name) was clean and fresh with a very comfortable bed with good quality and ample shower liquids etc. Check-in was professional and friendly. Breakfast food was of a high quality although the room server / manager had to be asked to provide juice and coffee top up. There was an issue in the breakfast room with other diners upset about something and this impacted on my experience. Overall, a good stay, a nice pub, spotlessly clean rooms and ideally located. Would return again.

Service at the evening meal was somewhat ... robotic. No real attention to customers or their comments. Food was quite good though. Breakfast service could be improved, although here the hot food offered was of a high quality and tasty,

Wonderful, wonderful. For the price it was so much more than I was expecting. Jose and his team are running a fantastic pub/hotel. The rooms and attention to detail were so nice, I actually want to go back sooner. The rooms have a serenity you don't often find in a hotel, and the quality of products/furniture choices/colour schemes/bedding was excellent. The pub itself, is large, open-planned and well laid out. Again the design is so well thought out and inviting. The breakfast choice is so good and freshly made, best breakfast I've had in a long time. When I'm travelling I will definitely stay here again and make sure I have dinner in the restaurant. Recommended stay!

Greeted by a member of staff who took us to our room & explained everything. There was also a personalised welcome letter & music playing in the room, on our arrival, which was cosy, nicely decorated with lovely furnishings. It was also very clean with a comfy bed & good mini bar & toiletries. Good breakfast too. 20 minute walk into the centre of town.

In the room we were in (West Cliffe), our bed was right up against the window with no ability to step out to the side or at the bottom, so had to climb over my husband to get to the bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be if you weren't that flexible!

Stayed here to see friends and happened to be the airshow. Circa 15 mins walk in to Bournemouth. Staff lovely, lots of nice touches in the room (pillow spray and earplugs). Very well designed room. We ate in the bar twice plus breakfast & all the food was lovely.

We tried to add on the points from the reward scheme when we left, for both our stay and the food &drinks we had charged to the room. We weren't able to do this as they had already closed the tab which was disappointing, and a shame they hadn't pointed out to us earlier.

The room was lovely and warm it had a real cosy feel to it, had a very powerful Dyson fan which was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, downstairs was really nicely decorated with warm lighting feels like your in a country pub, had a nice outside seating are and had water for dogs in the foyer area. Food was good too

The window in the room could do with a net for some privacy. As the bed is fixed to the wall where the window is there was a slight draft coming through during the night, shower had two temperatures which was hot and scalding and the room was a bit dusty.

The room was very comfortable and well maintained/equipped with a few freebies thrown in such as a glass of prosecco and a beer and bottled water which was a nice touch. The honesty mini fridge was a lovely addition and the toiletries of high quality. Breakfast was tasty and was also of superior quality though a little slow (were waiting over 25 mins which seemed a bit long) and sometimes we had to ask twice, but we were not in a rush so wasn't a problem forn; for others it may have been. They were very helpful and kept our bags until later in the day until we travelled home. We really enjoyed our short stay.

These are very minor points but the carpet in our room really needed a clean and the window was very tricky to close completely. The breakfast was slow considering there were only 3 tables sat when we arrived but I presume the kitchen and front of house teams were preparing for a very busy Easter Sunday lunch; it was delicious all the same.
