This was nearly perfect for my overnight stay. Nice, clean room, with amenities, wonderfully located. Close to Terminals 2/3, a bit of a walk to Terminal 5 where I was leaving out of for international flights, but that is to be expected with a hotel in a massive airport- if it is close to one terminal, it will be further away from another

The only (minor) inconveniences were (1) the shower did not get hot, it was only warm; (2) there was no refrigerator. I travel with medications that could have used a small fridge. It may have been that there was a hotel fridge I could have used, but I did not ask.

it’s location inside Heathrow Terminal 3 meant that we did not have to worry about any impact on the day of our flight from potential train, road etc strikes. The hotel’s insulation from people and aircraft noise was excellent.Being able to buy a couple of beers and a sandwich from reception and enjoy them in the comfort of the hotel library was a bonus.

We got the impression that we could be dropped off by family in a car at the doors of the hotel.Apple satnav directed us to Terminal 5 drop off from where it was awkward to find our way across to Terminal 3 via the Heathrow Express and a long walk through tunnels. There are very few airport or train staff available to give guidance and signage for the hotel is very limited.Fortunately we had hours to spare to solve these difficulties.

Very nice room. Great location. If you are flying from T3, hotel is right there opposite M and S, which sells food and open till quite late. You can walk to T3 without the use of a lift which can get very, very busy. Take side door and walk across courtyard. We did not even turn on the tv this time or last time we stayed, it was not necessary as we were having a great time. This hotel has really nice bathrooms with lovely smelling shower gel and handwash - also, you can wash your travel clothes out and they will dry overnight, so a big help if you hand luggage only. Only place I want to stay in Heathrow from now on. I might go to Hilton Gardens again as you can see the runway from a distance at the side and they have a lovely skybar, but getting to T3 took ages from Hilton Gardens and we eventually carried our suitcases down the stairs last time, which was stressful. If you are a solo traveller, you feel safe there. Lounge should be a bit more inviting though, because it is very nice. Hilton Gardens for proper hotel room. Here for ease and simplicity getting to T3. The price for cans of drink in reception is cheaper than M and S. Only one cafe though, Cafe Nero, usually packed. Rooms are not good for anyone who has claustrophobia, but I really like them. I have stayed twice here now, once by myself for two nights and once with my son for one night. Staff have always been lovely.

Girls in next room noisy and when we arrived they were standing infront of our door, we had to ask them to move out of the way. They then continued to be noisy when we were in the room. Not hotel's fault. Seemed to be too many girls for one room, I guess it must have been a room for four. Maybe staff should check room keys as people go in and out to see rooms are not over occupied?

1st visit was at the end of September to check out the hotel for when our 13 year old grandson was flying in on his own from Perth to London at the end of the year. The 1st room was a shoe box-bed against the wall, and so small for the price paid. But we had no choice as we needed to be by Gate 3 for meeting the Perth flight in December which arrived at 5am. Location was spot on. Second visit in December to stay and the bedroom was so much better. Able to walk around the bed and although still no window, it was nicely decorated and was much more comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were appreciated. We’ve kept the room number in a file and will request this room on future visits.

Re our second visit - to be able to walk around the bed and the easy location to meet the early flights in arriving at Gate 3..

It was exceptionally convenient after seeing a family member off at 10.30pm on a flight from terminal 3, eliminating a journey on a tube train at such a late hour, on my own. Staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient when checking in and out. The whole place was very quiet and clean. The room was a good size, with a large exceedingly comfortable double bed and plenty of room for my bag and wall space to hang my coat and clothes up on coat hangers (3). It was good to see a kettle, cups and complimentary tea and coffee, with sachets of sugar and milk. Also complimentary bottles of water. The TV provided some entertainment before bedtime, after a relaxing shower in the immaculately clean and well stocked, en suite, bathroom, equipped with soft white towels, hand and body wash and other essentials. I felt very safe and comfortable on my own and throughly enjoyed my stay. It was worth paying that bit more for such a convenient place to stay given my circumstances that evening, on my own.

There was actually nothing I could find fault with. It would have been nice to be able to stay until 11am or mid day before checking out but I was told check out was 10am, which was ok and not a real problem, as I accept that they have many rooms to clean and get ready for other guests. It meant I had more time to look around central London before getting the train home.

For a long overnight layover or early departure, it is perfect. We arrived late and left early for a connecting flight. The room was upscale modern with all new furnishings and bedding. It was amazingly quiet to be located at the end of an active airport terminal. Wonderful to wake up just 30 minutes before the time we needed to be in the terminal and not be concerned about traffic or other delays.

Our late arrival from Athens caused us to miss the last connecting shuttles and buses from terminal 5, so we had to get a taxi between terminals. Not the fault of the hotel, but a complete surprise and frustration for us.

Convenience to Terminal 3! New and well-cared for.

The minimalist approach had been used when furnishing the rooms! Not user friendly! needs larger table, chairs around it, another bedside table, a place to put my things in bathroom AND bedroom!! Please!! I don’t care if I’m there for 5 minutes or 5 days!! Also, no place to eat for entrees, etc! A sit down place with good food! I made a mistake by purchasing the “breakfast”! PLEASE! A bag with pathetic collection inside!!! And £15 for two of those?! Have a company person go, with luggage, stay there overnight. Let’s make it two, so you can see what WE experienced. You’re on the right track, but you’re not there yet! Thank you for this opportunity!

I didn't have breakfast because I was leaving at stupid o'clock and I would be fed on the plane, but I did get the promised wake-up call at 04:30. Comfortable room but I was in it for such a short time and sleeping for most of it. Loved that it was right in the terminal, albeit at Arrivals, not Departures.

I loathe overhead showers. It was expensive, but on the other hand I didn't have to worry about, or pay for, a taxi from a Bath Road hotel and I was able to check-in my hold baggage the night before. There are NO restaurants at Terminal 3 at the time of writing (May/June 2022) so I had a 20 minute underground walk to T2 where the only restaurant I could find open was the Hilton where I had an over-priced piece of crisp battered fish with vile mushy peas and decent chips, but the dessert was pretty good, as I recall. None of that was the fault of Aerotel, but just thought I'd mention it!

I didn't buy any breakfast, but they had some food to buy, which is very convenient. Hot water and amenities like tea or coffee in the room were really great. The location is number 1 reason to select the place.

Smokers would really appreciate a smoking area closer to the hotel-but I'm not sure if it's even up to them. A small window would add a better feeling, but then that's inside the terminal. Sound insulation definitely needs an updrade.
