Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre London Heathrow

The location and the convenience of the shuttle bus to Heathrow is a bonus but it is also a really good hotel with very well-trained staff.

It was slightly confusing at check in, a very nice and welcoming team member took me over to the self-check-in telephone booths where on my first attempt the system showed that the charge that was going to be taken from my card was much more than I was quoted. When I questioned the team member I was told this was a deposit charge which would be repaid 3/4 days later. The system then stalled so the team member tried again this time it showed an even larger deposit charge was going to be taken bringing it over double my confirmed price. Again the system stalled and I was then taken to the reception where another very nice and professional team member booked me in and at this point the system only asked for the price I had been quoted in my confirmation email.

perfect location easy bus ride from outside hotel to Hatton Cross tube station £2 then directly into central London £6, easy regular bus to Twickenham from outside hotel and only £2 with one easy change at Hounslow Central plus hotel half price compared to central London, If your a rugby fan and go to Twickenham leaving from central London is a nightmare with thousands of people packed onto trains if you stay here your going west to east it’s quiet and easy you can arrive at any time that suits you with no stress at all

the rooms felt a bit dated but clean

Excellent location, very close to the airport. Ideal for overnight Heathrow layovers or catching an early flight. Depending on the room's orientation, you can see the runway and planes taking off through the window. Room was decent sized and cozy, the bed was comfortable. Everything you probably need for a one-night stay such as I had.

Bathroom was a bit shabby, and the whole experience was not particularly luxurious, given that it's a 4-star hotel, but functional. I agree with some of the previous reviewers that the "airport shuttle" service should be stated more clearly as a paid third-party service (which is too expensive in my opinion, and you're better off simply using the local bus to get to Heathrow, there's a bus stop about 2'-walk from the hotel).

The lady on reception when I arrived was excellent. The concierge ( Charlie) was also excellent and provided information about getting to the airport which saved me money.

Because neither the Booking.com advert nor the multitude of emails / SMS from Radisson told me that there are 2 Radisson hotels on Bath Road near Heathrow Airport, I went to the wrong hotel initially. The reception staff at the other Radisson were appallingly bad. One receptionist told me that I should have checked the post code of the hotel before I arrived. Another receptionist told me that it was not Radisson's fault that the Booking.com description of the hotel did not refer to 2 hotels in the same area. Both receptionists were idiots with no interest in looking after Radisson customers and need to be trained or fired.

Beautiful room and very pleasant common areas. Staff were obliging, despite being visibly overworked, and tried their best under very difficult conditions

The reception was understaffed and check in was chaotic, involving queueing for hours on end. The rooms were literally freezing. Despite changing rooms twice, the heating system was not functioning at all - at minus three degrees outside. A small, plug in, emergency heater was eventually provided - but it took hours to take the chill from the air

A very good hotel as one can be close to an airport. Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff and comfortable common areas.

Suttle to the airport costs 6pounds and takes 45mins. Their online check-in/check-out system is not ideal as to use it you keep getting charged for a room you already paid. You of course get reimbursed but it is frustrating to have the funds blocked on your account even for a few weeks. I had an issue with refund that lasted more than 30days. They never responded to my emails on the matter and reaching the right person to talk on the phone was difficult. Resolved by the end.

Rooms are fantastic for a standard room. Very clean. Lovely comfortable large bed. Lovely bathroom and a fantastic shower.

I have to stress the food was lovely but overpriced. Plus what it says for choices you have for dinner is far from what choices to have when you get to the restaurant. Very disappointing.

On arrival the staff were very polite and accommodating! The beds were very comfy, but the pillows were not! Although the rooms were nice, they need to give them a coat of paint as there are lots of scuff marks on the walls.

No milk to put in the coffee on arrival! Free shuttle to the airport was advised, but you had to pay £6 per person! The cleaners didn’t lock our room after they had cleaned the room! It cost £20 in a taxi to go to the airport it’s a 10 minute drive! We were sent an offer via email to have breakfast at £13.50 but none of the restaurant or reception staff were able to verify this as they weren’t aware of it, so we had to pay £18.99 per person, which makes scramble egg on toast with a coffee very expensive! Very poor lighting in the rooms.

Check in could be a lot smoother: there was one check in queue for everyone, irrespective of whether you had checked in online or not. This complicated matters, especially for older people, who mostly hadn't submitted their information online, and it slowed the process for everyone. Would be best to have two check in desks: one for people who have checked in online and one for those who haven't. While it's not the responsibilty of the hotel, be aware that the schedule of the airport shuttle is limited, only available once an hour.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had all the provisions need. Room was also equipped with an iron, which was handy. Restaurant had a lovely selection of Italian food and some good wines and cocktails. There was a second bar that had nibbles and bites as well, which were quite good. Pool and gym were in good condition too.

Hotel was just a bit too far from any tube stations, which was expected as it was an airport hotel. I had to cab it to Hatton Cross to get the Piccadilly Line to Central London. Would have been nicer if the hotel was closer to a station but no harm done.
