Hilton Liverpool City Centre

I loved the location of this hotel. Also, my room was very nice and quiet with a good view. There's everything you need in your room. Also a lovely big bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast there's plenty of choice hot and cold food. The hotel is ideal for The Royal Albert Dock. Ferry Terminal Art Gallery.and other attractions A good location for the City Centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly when making enquiries a young person called Aiden assisted with this when having to make a phone call early one morning regarding my booking. A very helpful member of the team.

I went down to use the gym and discovered that there's no one available to assist with enquiries about using the equipment.

Very long check in process with trainee receptionist. I felt that one of the other more experienced receptionists should have stepped in to help. My 80 year old parents had to stand and wait for over 30mins yes whilst I checked us in. Also we were not advised about car parking and there being no discount on local parking - every other hotel in the city offers some discount ? I emailed the hotel in advance to ask about car parking via booking.com and nobody responded to me.We paid £50 for 2 cars to park in Qpark overnight . This alone would put me off recommending the hotel to others.

The location of the hotel was excellent, this hotel was central to all the atractions. The only negative was that there wasn't enough parking at the hotel, had to pay a further £24 pounds to park over night. Paige from the hotel text me to see how my stay was going so far, which was really nice, l ask her if the hotel could put something in the room as it was my partners birthday. \she arranged for a ballon and card which was really nice. Thank you.

As l put in the box above, the only negative was l had park my car in another car partk which cost a further £24.

Perfect location, comfy bed, good breakfast (lots of options, and tasted great)

The room was incredibly hot and stuffy - we felt claustrophobic on our final day and decided to check out earlier than planned. We were desperate for fresh air. We'd turned the temperature down on the gauge as far as it would go. There was a sign on it to say to contact staff to alter further, which we had to do twice, but it didn't stay cooler for long. It made it difficult to sleep. And I'm someone who usually feels the cold.

The dinner I order it was simply disgusting. I had to bring one of your staff to exactly emexplain the issues with the two dishes Mac & Cheese and your pea and pesto risotto I ordered were tasteless and so low quality. You need serve the food as a proper 4* hotel not even a takeaway tastes like that, and the price you charge for that you have to be joking. Breakfast this me NO DECAFFEINATED coffee. Are you stupid or what? How can’t you not offer that. GET IT SORTED.

location was brilliant. staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was good. bed was comfortable. Christmas decorations were good in the lobby area.

considering the price paid for one night the room was just like any other room half the price. nothing special. bathroom could have done with a deep clean and shower was very poor. I feel the cost of the stay was only justified because of the location. With the name Hilton and price paid I was expecting a more impressive room especially the bathroom. If I’d have known, I’d have paid the extra for a room upgrade as I wanted it to be a memorable stay in an impressive room justifying the price.

Excellent array of breakfast selections and service was impeccable. WiFi worked splendidly, had no issues when calling friends and family or streaming online conferences. Several amenities close by and only a 10+ minute walk to Liverpool Lime St station.

Felt like the room was cold, even after trying to adjust the temperature. There weren't many power plugs next to the bed, which I found slightly annoying. I was also woken up on some mornings by someone hoovering, not sure if this was out in the hallway or in the room next door.

restaurant ran out of some of the food choices on the menu one hour before it was due to close. Also in the same area of the restaurant they had big tv screen with football on, but it was so loud and consumed the whole eating area it was in appropriate to those that wanted a normal relaxing evening having their meal. it is a top hotel and & certainly felt we were in a Sports bar! certainly all guests were not being considered. perhaps another area for this loud tv would be better.

There was no towels in the room not even a hand towel, I made the front desk aware of this just after we checked in at 17.00. I asked them again at about 21.30 ,and we eventually got towels about 22.45. And also one of the dressing gowns had a dirty dust mark all over the collar.
