Heywood House Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Superb location for sightseeing, great access to Lime Street Station. Welcoming and professional staff at the reception desk, had no problems with storing our suitcases after check out. The room was cleaned, with toiletries and tea/coffee replenished, and the bed linen was changed after two nights. Our room was equipped for people with mobility issues, which would definitely be a plus for someone needing that equipment.

Not the hotel's fault at all, but our room faced the back alley with recycling bins used by local businesses (pubs, etc.) and it was extremely noisy when they disposed of glass bottles during the night/early morning.

The Property was lovely, very clean & every member of staff that worked on reception were welcoming/friendly, especially the bloke that greeted us when we arrived. We were upgraded to a balcony for free which was perfect for us, made paying £45 for closest car park for 2 days more worth it. The bathroom was excellent, loved the bathtub (and the rubber duck was a cute touch). I would definitely come again.

- Bed pillows need replacing due to being overused - they’re as flat as pancakes, making them uncomfortable/no support when sleeping. - only half the buttons on the TV remote worked, making it difficult to navigate the tv (e.g: menu guide button & volume button). - despite being on the 3rd floor, we managed to find a slug in our room 😂

Went on a Wednesday for a night at International Beatleweek, so with this being a 2 minute walk from Mathew Street, the location was perfect. Room and bathroom were big and to a high standard. Great drinks facilities in the room. Staff were really friendly and hotel was spotless throughout. Room was cheap being a Wednesday too!

Mainly booked due to breakfast being included, but transpired was just stuff in a bag when we got there - packaged croissant, yoghurt, fruit, orange juice etc - which was fine, but expected a bit more from a 'boutique hotel'. Saved them for the train back, and went round the corner to Wetherspoons for brekkie 😜

This hotel is quite underrated as it has excellent location and nice rooms especially some of the superior rooms which I'm often upgraded to. Decor is nice and rooms always clean. It's failing is only that it's almost invisible from the street so hasn't really gained the popularity it deserves. Pricing is always good because of this an the fact that we are all spoilt foir choice for properties in Liverpool which are plenty.

Nothing is neither BW or the staffs fault the entrance from the street is hard to even find but its a shame because internally its a nice building past reception and all clean and tidy.

The location was perfect for us, so close to the centre of the city and there were lots of food options, bars, shops around. The docks were a stones throw away which was perfect for us to go and explore. Black out curtains were a bonus, useful for those well needed lay ins!

The bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom door was incredibly squeaky - not the end of the world of course, but I managed to spook my partner both nights when going to the bathroom, oops! TV was dated, so only had the choice of normal tv and the quality was not HD - again not the end of the world, but a good TV usually comes as standard nowadays. As a warning, you could hear the music from the local bars/clubs through the walls but this dies down around 1am :-)

The room was clean and in a good state of repair The. Beds were very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. Easily controlled heating system. The hotel itself is lovely and clean .The staff were friendly and helpful . The location was perfect. There was an option to have your room decorated for a celebration which I did which made it that bit more special, also an option for a room upgrade a few days before which we took also.

Getting in and out of the shower was a bit scary as it was very slippy. After speaking to reception they provided us with non slip mats for inside and outside of the shower. If you are staying for more than one or two days the wardrobe space is very limited.

rang us to remind us of the checkout time been though we had booked & checked in for 2 nights. which meant the cleaner also started to come in even though the do not disturb sign was on. everything lovely but would possibly just have a sink rather than a big unit around it as this made it awkward to use the toilet especially in the middle of the night when it was dark. it also made the bathroom feel small even thoug it was a good size

Heywood House Hotel is located in the city center only 600 m/8 min. walk north of Liverpool One Bus Station. I was accommodated in a double room overlooking the street with a private bathroom with a bathtub. I had everything I needed in the room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Very good price for a hotel in the city center. Nice staff worked at the reception. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. I would stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Liverpool.

I do not see any cons at this hotel.

Location is perfect, room was comfortable and reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were given a list of suggested things to do which helped us massively as we were mainly visiting for the World Gymnastics Championships and were a bit pushed for time. Great base for exploring the city! We stayed for 4 nights. On the last night we ordered Deliveroo and it was delivered to our room by reception, a really nice touch. All staff super friendly and helpful. Parking at Q park was about 7 mins walk away. Top floor rooms are quietest.

It was a little noisy like others have said but far from unbearable. Bottle bank emptying was probably the worst bit but that was intermittent and not overly late. We put brown noise on our phones and slept fine - and I'm usually a light sleeper. TV not having access to Nextflix or ability to stream anything was a bit annoying. Lift was out of service at check out time for a linen delivery - not ideal when needing to bring cases down.

Very well-located hotel, few minutes from Albert Dock, shopping malls, Cavern Quarter; the hotel is also within waling distance from Aiport Bus Stop at Liverpool One. Staff were helpful and nice, they provided us a UK-type plug so we can charge our phones, and we didn´t have to buy one. The room was comfortable and clean, Wi-fi was good.

There was a request for a deposit (50 pounds) which would be refunded after 5-6 working days. This could be better clarified when performing the booking, I am not sure Booking provided this information.
