The Wildings Hotel & Tudno's Restaurant

Nice friendly welcome when we arrived, with keys ready and waiting. We had booked two rooms and it was great that we had rooms next door to each other.. We really appreciated that. Although the rooms were quite small they were very well equipped, very clean and really comfortable. One room had such a beautiful view of the sea, beach and the Little Orme. Breakfasts were cooked to order selected from a menu, along with fresh tea and coffee, and the service was very prompt. For our family, one of the best things about the hotel is that it is in such a great location, close to the pier, the town centre, the tram station, it was great. We would definately go back to this hotel again.

There was nothing not to like really. I suppose the only thing is it would have been nice to have had a parking space outside the hotel. But they did write to explain this to us which was very good of them so it was no big surprise or disappointment when we arrived. I guess we were fortunate enough to find a space which was not too great a distance away and we could see the car from the front bedroom window.

Location of hotel is brilliant room and public areas spotless, the staff are very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable, had an evening meal in the restaurant which was excellent will be visiting again soon.

Could not find anything we did not like, this is a lovely hotel to stay and evidence can be found in the guest book where guests return year after year The hotel does not have a car park but has a few permits to park at the front of hotel, We did not find this an issue we found a car park on York street that did all day and overnight parking for £6.00 and was only about a ten minute walk from hotel. You can park outside the hotel to drop off luggage etc and help from staff is provided if necessary.

Very clean and well presented. Nice food and really friendly professional staff.

Minor details but they could do with investing in more comfortable pillows and better quality toilet paper! Would still return though!

The location of this hotel is fantastic! Right opposite the pier and the beach. Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious!! Made to order too so there was no waste with it being sat out. Our room was ready early so we could drop our things off when we arrived and I was so surprised at how clean the hotel was with it being dog friendly. Absolutely spotless!! We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal too and we received a free drink with it being our first night there, which was very welcomed. My little girl is only 3 and we received the same fabulous service as the other guests and she very much enjoyed her food from the children’s menu. The menu was very reasonable and delicious, the night we were there was steak night so they had an offer on for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. If I thought my 3 year old would have shared that with me, I may well have opted for that! Opposite the hotel is a little train which runs over to the other beach every 20 minutes so that saved us a long walk, my daughter particularly enjoyed this and we spent a lovely afternoon making sandcastles. Parking is an issue as it is with most hotels in Llandudno but there are a few long stay car parks which are very reasonably priced. I imagine if you are more patient than me then you could circle and found a space closer. I am very much looking forward to staying again, hopefully for a little longer next time.

The breakfast was perfect, the choices were vast, my partner I I agreed it was one of the best we've had. The decor at the Hotel is lovely, and spotlessly clean,as was our room, with a lovely sea view, what a joy to wake up to, we will go back again.

It's not so much a dislike, just a recommendation, there was no shelf in the shower, when your standing in the shower trying to hold onto the shampoo and the soap, and nowhere to put it,not easy, but that's all really, oh and maybe a full length mirror somewhere and a small chair for the dressing table, these things mean a lot to us ladies.

Stayed here in mid-July with my teenage daughter, in room 29, and there was so much to like at this hotel! The room was spacious with plenty of drawers and cupboards. As I'd asked for a twin room, there was a pull-down bed which I guess is usually hidden behind a cupboard so the room must seem very large if it's only booked as a double. The view was amazing - the hotel is right in front of the sea and the pier but it's incredibly quiet (you can't even hear the rooms next door) and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves splashing against the shore. The decor in the room is really nice, with a lovely yellow and blue theme, and the lighting is good. There is a desk, chairs and a TV. There is a hairdryer in the room and you can borrow an ironing board if needed. They left a chocolate on our pillows each day too, which was very much appreciated :) . It was very hot for the first two days of our visit and there was a fan provided in the room. The bathroom was nice, with a shower and a bath with a hydromassage option and basic toiletries supplied. It was useful to have the USB sockets as well, as it meant I could have the fan going while I was charging our phones. The food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was also really nice, with small or large options for the traditional Welsh breakfast. The lifts work well. Check-in was very efficient and you can also pay extra to have a late checkout (11:30am or 1pm) which is handy.

As it was very hot weather when we were there, a fridge would've been nice to keep water in, or some extra milk for tea and coffee. There is also no full-length mirror, but there is a large mirror above the bath which is sufficient. The tap in the bathroom was hard to turn off but I'm just nitpicking here because we were really happy with our stay and this would definitely be our first choice for another trip to Llandudno.

The rooms were stunning, the food fabulous and the staff all lovely (especially Mary who I’d been in contact with for a few weeks, she couldn’t do enough to help and we laughed lots) It was right next to the Pier and 5 minutes to the tram, with so many gorgeous places to eat too! Plus it had a lift which I am so grateful for. It was just lovely!

Only compliant and it is tiny- the curtains are very thin so in April at 6:50am light came streaming through which isn’t great when you don’t sleep easily haha, but like I said it’s a tiny complaint!

We have stayed here a few times but not since the restaurant has been added. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely breakfast and booked in for dinner on one of our evenings. The location is perfect which is one of the reasons we stayed here again. We had a family room (Room 1), which was lovely and spacious, however the bathroom was a bit on the small side and you had to sit at an angle on the toilet.

Was a bit confused as to why the hotel only offer the parking permits to guests who have booked direct...... it is your choice to offer reservations via Booking.com. All guests should be treated the same. * On checkout, we queried an extra round of drinks that the hotel had put on our bill that we hadn't had, but they clearly thought we were lying and made us wait half an hour whilst two members of staff trawled through two hours of video footage to try and prove us wrong - needless to say they had to knock it off the bill.

The location is on the North Parade almost opposite the Pier and handy for the Promenade. The room was clean and tidy with all facilities required. The rest of the hotel was very welcoming and comfortable. The restaraunt was excellent; food, service, staffing, everything.

Our only complaint was the difficulty of parking. Our arrival on the Thursday evening was traumatic and, although the staffhelped us with luggage, we had to park a half mile away and pay!

We liked many things, such as Conwell Castle, the bus ride and tram through the city, it is a very nice place to enjoy the beautiful views and also to rest and relax. We liked having a good service as well as a good breakfast, The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. And the room was very spacious.

We didn't like it, they only didn't change the bed, nor the big towels, even though we were there for a week
