Property was clean and spotless.
As we have a baby and respectively a buggie, our room was located on the second floor, and during our 3 days stay at the property, the lift was out of service, so I had to carry it through the stairs... which was very unconfortable.

It was a good room with a comfortable bed - larger than a standard double as it says in the description. The aircon was very welcome too. Everything was clean and in good working order. The location was really convenient for the city centre, and the soundproofing meant we were only disturbed by the loudest engine revving and sirens - most noised were muffled. There was sometimes a smell of weed in the entrance halls, but the seal on the door meant it didn't get into our room.
We have a few small suggestions that would make the place even better: - A couple more rolls of toilet paper and/or something for mopping up drinks/cooking spills. - A spoon for stiring sauces would be useful for the kitchenette (there were two plastic spatulas and a plastic serving spoon), as well as a pair of scissors, a peeler, a smaller knife (there were two very big ones provided), and a chopping board. - A more absorbant teatowel - the one we had was almost water-resistant! Possibly a result of the fabric softener. Overall we were very happy, especially for the price.

Everything was straight forward. Every thing was according to the description. The bathroom was also clean and renovated. The kitchen was very new, renovated and clean. The beds and the linen were all very soft and comfortable. Temperature was perfect, as we could modify it with the digital thermostat. Wifi worked perfectly as well. One thing, please advise the guests to logout of their Netflix upon checkout, it will be a good gesture from your side. The previous guest left it logged in.
Cleanliness was good, but one towel had stains on it. Even though it was quite visible that the towels were washed but still the stain on one of the towels makes one question the cleanliness in general for the room. So the management please be careful with it as a simple thing like this can lower your value. Another minor thing was the curtain rod, it was hanging out when I entered. So I fixed it. This is again a minor thing but it brings down the overall impression of the room. I feel the doors, if possible can be made with slightly better soundproofing, as we could hear the people outside clearly. Even though the people stopped being noisy after 11:30 PM. So this wasn't issue, but it can raise concerns for privacy.

For a two night break in Nottingham it was ideal. No, there wasn't a lovely view from the window. No there was not on-site parking and yes, the kitchenette was minimal. There was also a busy road outside. But..... the parking opposite was very cheap during the day and free 10pm till 8am - with no limit on returning (we parked for two days and nights for around a tenner; you don't expect a sea view in Nottingham and certainly not for £62.50 a night; You don't need more than drink making fascilities (good size fridge) with a every style, nationality and price of place to eat within half a mile and the traffic noise was not intrusive and the roads had pedestrian crossing signals. We are a retired couple , still enjoying our travels but realistic about value for money.
Towels were a bit skimpy for showering.

You could eat your dinner off the floor if you want to the place was that clean. The bed was top notch,You just sink into it and fall asleep. The room smells fresh. You have everything controlled by an I pad/tablet including the telly and it's easy to work. You can control the temperature of the room via the tablet. Cooking facilities if you need them.altough I didn't use them. The owner Jeff over the phone.is polite and will deal with any questions.
The area.it is a dump ! The reason the hotel is the price it is is because of the area.as long as you go west out the door towards the city centre it is ok. Go right then your In the bronx.

Easy to access self check in. A clean and modern facility - spacious room with a double bed, adequately fitted kitchen and a clean bathroom. Also has a small back garden with a view of the cemetery. About a fifteen minute walk from the city centre.
Would have liked to see some staff presence or a concierge office of some sort to give me reassurance that if there were any problems there can be someone on site who can sort it out. I appreciate the self check in system is meant to be more flexible and cut down costs potentially, but to make it a perfect stay a concierge with a left luggage room/facility of some sort would have made it perfect.

good location easy walk into town and parking not to far away either. room was really nicely designed, interiors well thought out and stylish. the host was very friendly and happy to take your calls should you need anything, security on the door late at night. we requested and early check in which was granted, however when we arrived our room hadn’t been cleaned from the night before, we made a call to the host and this was sorted ASAP, he was apologetic and explained the situation - these things happen and it was very quickly rectified, and the room was then cleaned spotless.
you could hear all other rooms door close late at night.. which of a weekend if you’re after a peaceful night sleep may be slightly annoying, however if you’re a party goer and will be coming in later yourself I wouldn’t envisage it would ever be an issue. this wasn’t a big enough issue to put us off and would definitely return should be visit Nottingham again.

The room was very soundproofed from the neighbours- great for a light sleeper like me. The room was spacious, and the addition of the kitchenette was very useful despite not using it for cooking. The style and overall aesthetic of the room was lovely! One of the more better designed rooms I have been in for a long time.
Could not get the wifi to work on my devices (decided not to contact the help number as we were only there a few days). Took us until the second night to work out how the air conditioning worked (a nice instruction booklet on the bed upon entering the room would be great in future). Though the room was wonderfully soundproofed, the ensuite was not so... I love my spouse but don't want to be able to continue our conversation when he entered the bathroom! The security deposit was steep, and did not realise this until after booking. Had to borrow money off family for it.

lovely sized room, great for what we needed. large bed and tv was a lot bigger than usual hotels. was nice having a tablet so you could control the heating/air con yourself. was a little worried reading some reviews but had absolutely no reason too. windows open on a latch like all hotels, yes there’s a graveyard to the rear of the property but i didn’t see an issue, nice and clean, towels provided. overall had a lovely stay and would stay again.
bathroom is quite a squeeze but obviously not much can be done about that so you make do and the lift wasn’t working.

small points. It was hard to locate it whilst driving. we sailed straight past and so some clear guidance about which street to turn into to park to unload would be v useful. Rather poor supply of tea.coffee , milk. I understand why you put 2 of everything in the room (cutlery etc.) but 2 teabags etc? So if you both want one, as we did, there's none for morning. we were paying £00 approx for one night so a bit more generosity with these VERY cheap extras would be a nice gesture.
