Not too bad to be fair, clean and comfortable bed. No hot water to shower next morning and missing bedside tables etc but for what we paid we can’t really complain.

No hot water. Room smelly had to leave windows open. Missing furniture (could see where they had been) Only one mirror in bathroom. Microwave and kitchenette but no plates, bowls etc and 1 of each cutlery!

Amazingly friendly staff. Receptionist Upgraded us from budget to standard room on arrival, knocked on our door later to check we were satisfied with everything, and even offered his own phone charger when we asked whether the hotel had one. The room was clean and spacious. It had its own kitchenette and a nicely sized clean bathroom. Area is very studenty, so I felt safe walking around late. Nice TV in front of the bed. Warm and comfy bed with clean sheets. The price (lowest priced hotel in the city centre by far at the time of booking)!

We parked in the city centre a little while away from the hotel - it seems like parking nearby would have been difficult had we tried. After booking I got a message to say I would need to bring ID to check in, and that if I didn’t have it I would not be able to check in and wouldn’t get a refund. Not a problem as I had ID, but if I didn’t and then wasn’t allowed to stay that would obviously have been frustrating. So it could help for them to specify that before booking a non-refundable stay. Decor was a bit cheap and dated, but that was to be expected with the price.

This is my go to place in Nottingham, I am a regular visitor, due to being a Nottingham Forest FC Home member. So I go to most the home games. Very nice hotel, great, friendly staff, and nice location, easy to get to the city centre, about 40 minute walk to the Wollaton park and gardens, and it's about 5 minute walk to the Arboretum. So things around it. Has a mini kitchenette with the rooms, consisting of a fridge, kettle, microwave. And has cutlery included. So you can go out and buy food from the many supermarkets close by, which is what I do.

I always enjoy my stay, and cannot really find anything to criticise about Trivelles tbh.

check in was easy. Staff were polite

One of the windowpanes was missing glass When you flushed the toilet, it wouldn't stop filling unless you pulled the button up or pressed it again. There was not mirror in the room only in the bathroom which was not good if you needed to use hair straighteners or hair dryer etc. Double bed was pushed up the wall, which is no good if you were a couple and the person nearest the wall needed to get up in the night. There was a bed side light each side of the bed, but only had one switch which meant you had to lean over your partner to switch the light off.

Bed was very cosy, spacious and clean room.

I had to book a room in this hotel because I had an unpleasant incident with my AirBnB accommodation. The room I was given was comfortable, but I paid one night £139, which was definitely too much for a 3* hotel. For that price they should at least offer a breakfast. Curtains were ripped.

Clean rooms and friendly staff, checked in quickly. They were very helpful in finding a secure place for my motorbike for the night. Great value for money and would definitely stay again. Also I was expecting it to be loud opposite the student accomodation but it was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night.

A couple of the fixtures in the rooms (like side table, towel rail and toilet roll holder) were broken and also a few cracks and stains on ceiling but didn't really bother me as I was only saying for one night.

Always enjoy visiting this hotel. It's my main place I stay when I visit Nottingham for the football. The staff are always friendly and helpful, rooms always clean, and they have kitchenette (consisting of kettle, fridge and microwave) which you do not always get in other hotels. The room I had, was a top floor one with a balcony which was amazing, you could see whole of Nottingham from the top, and had room to sit on the balcony if you wanted too. Cannot speak highly enough of this place, and I look forward to my next stay here.

I cannot find anything negative to say tbh.

-An absolutely brilliant old factory conversion into a hotel with a classic exterior build. -5 star hotel level decor with double height ceiling on half of the room with exposed brick. -Modern interior design with match and contrast colors of furniture. -Comfy floor carpet with good bounce. -Modern kitchenette with full room amenities. -Modern bathroom with full wall mirror. -(Qurram and Asim) reception staff were very friendly and hospitable

-Fitness room is mainly for cardio. -Bathroom sink is a little inconveniently small. -Sound, and in some cases smell (adjacent room cooking) insulation is where it falls from 5 stars hotel to apartment building but I’m nit picking.

Rooms looked lovely just like the photos, staff were friendly and helpful. Public transport easy to find and regular. Very happy with the price I'd of expected it to be more with how lovely the rooms are. We definitely plan to stay here again.

I have a illness where I can't breathe very well so it was a bit far from the city centre for me but again can't fault because public transport is regular and easy to find

Was feeling dubious after booking the room last minute then read the negative reviews. However, our room was as expected. It was spacious, clean and comfortable meeting our needs. The staff member on the desk was polite and helpful (30 June 2022). We were very pleased with our one night stay and would definitely stay again. We are looking forward to booking again the future.

We liked everything in regards to our room and our stay. What could have improved it for us is the cafe and gym facilities being available. To reinstate these would make a good addition to an extended stay.
