Rooms At Rue

Staff very helpful we arrived very late and once we found location it was fab just ideal what we required. Bed was huge and comfy I had a lovely warm bath cup of tea/ coffee facilities Tv worked great space in the room great black out curtains Continental breakfast left outside our room in am as we had early start Easy quick check out absolutely recommend thank Brenda and Frank

Arrived at rue and Kirk welcomed us and seated is at our table in the bar, decided to stay here based on friendliness of staff, was welcomed by Kirk again at check in and once more in morning for a coffee. No better location, great variety to see do eat and drink. Affordable accomadation, lovely rooms with everything you need and a little continental breakfast outside room on morning of porridge ,muffin, fruit , cereal bar and oj. Cannot recommend rue enough, thanks to Kirk for making our stay fantastic.

The location was great right in the city center with a pedestrian path just below. It was tricky to find at first because you have to go into the restaurant and up the stairs to find the check-in desk. The accommodations were lovely and had enough beds for my family of four and we loved the area.

No signage for hotel, staff not at desk upon check-in, everything closed at 8p.

The location was just perfect. I found it a little hard to find, but I have a dreadful sense of direction. The rooms, beds etc extremely comfortable. The service was fabulous- the staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. A huge thumbs up from me. The lady on reception with long, blonde hair and glasses was especially helpful, she went above and beyond- really lovely, I was sorry I forgot to get her name.

Partner loved the breakfast. I have food allergies so couldn't eat it although not rue's fault as I didn't mention my allergies when booking my room. Location was perfect very central

Pillows slightly hard gave me a sore head. Wouldn't put me off staying at rue again though would just bring my own pillows next time.

The room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and spacious, with everything you could want, and a lovely comfortable bed! Excellent friendly staff as well, I had a lovely stay.

1 tiny issue was no towels in the room, but a simple phone call and was rectified immediately and professionally- great service 👍

Great location just off the main street with everything in walking distance, rooms are really comfortable, clean and a great size, restaurant has a great menu and the food is top quality, the staff are very helpful and friendly and were a great help, particularly Kirk who helped us with the early check-in and directions around town, looking forward to a return visit.

Lovely room. Friendly staff. Didn’t book breakfast as we weren’t sure how early we would be up after attending a family party, however, we were provided with a continental breakfast which was a nice touch. We chose to have a cooked breakfast in the restaurant downstairs before we left which was very good and good value too.

Can’t think of anything negative.

We've got a nice large room, comfortable beds, kettle in the room tea and coffee. Packed continental breakfast delivered to the door every morning. Good food at the restaurant. Personal was nice and friendly. Good location, short distance to the city center.

Smell from the kitchen at the restaurant could feels in the building even on the 4th floor.

Very welcoming clean and updated hotel. We arrived at 2am from the airport for a family funeral. We were welcomed on the street by the night porter and check in was fast and simple

Continental breakfast in a bag at the door. The opportunity to have a proper breakfast would have been great
