Great location, clean and tidy with excellent facilities. You get a key to the door to come and go as you please, breakfast was nice with help yourself cereal and toast, tea and coffee making facilities and a good cooked breakfast. There is a small kitchen area with microwave, fridge and plate etc for use throughout the day too. Its right above the pub with live music Friday and Saturday to enjoy. Lots of local shops, bars, coffee shops and nature to explore.

Only downsides for me, no car park and limited parking outside hotel and the pillows were too hard for me.

Very clean a nice rooms.Breakfast is best I've had with a room. Chose this town to stay while exploring castles and sight seeing. I would stay here again!

Can be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday night from bar below bit I knew that when I booked it from other reviews. Really is not bad we just watched a movie In the room later than we usually do. Very good central location to explore Northern Ireland from. We had a great time while there.

This is our 2nd time staying here, apartment had been repainted, doors were still a bit tacky JJ did apologise for this, but it did not impact on our stay. For us it's an Ideal location & very clean.

Again for us it's the table & stools far too tall / high. We did have 2 small issues 1 We had no hot water on our 1st night, went down to bar where staff said they would give it a boost after an hour or so still no water went down again where a member of staff came up & turns on the emersion heater switch, which i think should already have been done or at least tell us, water was then perfect. 2 On our 2nd night the bathroom flooded went down to bar told JJ he came up to see what's happened & turns out the drain / plug hole in shower floor was blocked. JJ quickly sorted this out & all was OK. 2 small issues quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend & will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was outstanding served with a smile and featuring quality ingredients really well cooked. The best service and food I have experienced in years. We will definitely return and highly recommend a spotlessly clean comfortable bedroom with a lovely en suite.

Nothing as we so much enjoyed our stay in a delightful central location with free street car parking.

Everything, there was nothing you couldn't like! From the moment we arrived we were met by a friendly host and it just got better from there......The room was spotless and we really enjoyed the selection of TV channels when we were relaxing....the breakfast on both mornings was amazing and the lady who served us was so nice. She went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when we are in the area. Thank you

Comfortable B&B style hotel. Cosy room and nice breakfast, with helpful staff. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Several years ago, was not considered as a place to stay - but clearly the owners/management have refurbished the rooms relatively recently to be now acceptably comfortable. Street parking in side street was easy.

Traffic noise from trucks etc., on room fronting the street. Not much the hotel can do about that (a function of location), but be aware !

amazing stay. super clean and staff could not do enough to help. especially Paddy want a gent. his is an absolute assert to the business. loved the stay. breakfast was lovely, rooms are so comfortable. Will definitely return later this year. thank you to all there x

there is nothing to not like about Belfast House.

First of all, I am not from Saudi Arabia, I am from Bangor, Co Down!!! The Belfast House exceeded our expectations!!! Our room was massive. The bed was very comfortable. It was 10 out of 10 for cleaniness, couldn't complain about anything at all at this very homely friendly place. They do not serve any food in the bar downstairs, they do serve one of the nicest breakfasts I have ever had which is included in your price for your stay. I dare say, if The Belfast House ever decided to serve food in the bar in the future, it would be a great success with customers. The staff were all very pleasant and very helpful, especially Chole, she is a lovely girl and nothing was too much trouble for her.

Really to be very honest, nothing, loved everything about our stay! We definitely will be back here and we will be recommending The Belfast House to family and friends. We have never stayed in Cookstown itself but was pleasantly surprised by how shops, cafes, boutiques etc there are in this town, the Omiplex Movie House is just around the corner from The Belfast House, so very handy if you fancied a movie. We honestly couldn't have picked a better place for our stay and within walking distance of everything.

Breakfast was delicious and good quality products. Staff all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Felt very welcomed during the entire stay ! Only downside was the rooms faced the busy road which was a bit noisy at night - nothing the hotel can do about that ! Overall a very pleasant stay and I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

The property is in a great location just round the corner from our friends. It’s above a pub but there is a side entrance. You initially have to pop into the bar to book in. Our apartment was on the top floor so a couple of flight of stairs. The apartment was lovely and modern with kitchen/diner/living area all in one. Fridge/Cooker/dishwasher. Two double bedrooms and a modern shower room with plenty of hot water. There are laundry facilities on the first floor. We didn’t hear much noise from the pub or traffic. Slept very well. Parking is a short walk away and free. There is parking on the street but this is time limited. Would recommend Belfast House and would definitely stay again. Many Thanks

The only thing that I would say is if you have mobility issues then the stairs would be an issue.
