Cohannon Inn

The room I stayed in was absolutely excellent and more like a 3 star Hotel, this has been upgraded since my last visit and was very well fitted out with a spacious Walk - In Shower it also had a Bath, a couch, chair, a dressing table, tv etc, the usual tea and coffee making facilities fantastic!

I only stayed the one night as was only a short working trip, the evening meal was good, also the breakfast however, there seems to be an inconsistancy with the evening meal times, the details on their web page indicated final orders for food is at 9.30pm, but I was told by staff it was 7.45 to 8pm, I don't know if this is just early in the week, the hotel needs to clarify this, I thought i would have to get a take away from one of the local food establishements on the site.

Upon arrival, was welcomed by staff who were very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my room - very modern, clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic, and the tea making facilities were also great. The TV had all the channels you could wish for, as well as Netflix, etc. The distance to the M1 was a dream, only 400m, and made the morning commute much more accessible! I was departing at 6.35am and thus missed the breakfast, but there is a very well-stocked shop next door that also serves hot food and has coffee facilities for those early morning folk. Overall, a very nice place and would stay again.

The only thing which was a minor downfall was that the wifi (free) was very slow, and I was unable to stream anything due to the slow bandwidth, however, this could have been because there were too many people on it at one time. This would not stop me from returning however as it was a great place!

Staff were fantastic, friendly and went over and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We stayed on two separate nights over the weekend, they facilitated an early check in for us which was super useful! Rooms were clean, it was a budget hotel/inn and was perfect for our stay. The night porter helped us with the provided Travel Cot, he was very kind and friendly and the restaurant staff were fantastic.

Breakfast was great. Very good value. Lovely friendly staff. Location near motor way exit made it very easily accessible.Safe parking. Good outside space for drinking or smoking. Over all Very good value for money.

The bathroom was old fashioned. We were on the first floor with no lift.The shower was over the bath not walk in. At 77 this is not good.

The hotel is well positioned in the country quite close to the motorway reasonable restaurant that is quite popular great breakfast(from 9am) food reasonably priced decent portions plenty of parking.nice views over fields from the room decent size room with large bathroom with shower comfy bed very clean overall.restaurant attractive decor quite large no pub open at this stage. on site petrol station large spar that sells everything incl subway and deli with hot takeaway food also on site fish and chip shop hairdresser.flowers off licence

The room gave the impression of being a little basic.The shower was only just usable due to low pressure.breakfast start time a little late.some staff a little unfriendly others just the opposite ! Cost per night at around £85 plus breakfast around £6.95 for a 2 star hotel a little expensive *breakfast good value at tbis price*

The lady on reception, sorry didn't get her name, was very welcoming explaining the procedure for evening meal and breakfast, access to the building after hours and what was available in the local area. The room was ideal, well heated and the shower facilities were very good. the food in the attached restaurant was amazing, don't drive past without stopping to sample the vegetable soup and supreme chicken!! Staff in the restaurant were very friendly

I'd only booked 1 night due to work commitments, wish I had more nights to spend there

The breakfast was excellent with a good choice offered. Staff were so helpful and food came through quickly and was always piping hot. Evening meals were equally good with an excellent variety given. The corridors, restaurant toilets and indeed every area of the property was looked after so well. The owner has to be congratulated for dealing with any concerns we had in a friendly manner as well. We would like to go back again soon.

Great room (8) & good value for money. Everything you need for overnight stay, Lovely clean shower room, coffee & tea facilities, great to have ironing board and iron to use when travelling. Next to takeaway pizza, Chinese and spar, so no need to drive to get anything you need. Arrived late so didn’t get chance to eat their but greeted by a friendly lady. Highly recommend!!!

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The location is good and quiet. Large free car park and close to the M1 motorway. The room was serviced every day of my stay.

Free Wi-Fi is not very fast and the shower water pressure was just about adequate.

it was comfortable and location was good

the rooms sadly are out dated style but got all facilities you need and does well. They have executive suites to offer these are very modem and lovely . thought was in different hotel when saw this different room. the staff was lovely and offer food and drink plus got shops to go too . would book again
