The Ryandale Inn

The location was ideal for our visit in the area, and really good breakfast was included. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. In general although we had some minor issues listed in the didn't like they were all minor but notable which slightly spoiled an otherwise excellent review.

There was a problem with the TV remote control which wasn't resolved during the stay. The shower was also difficult to turn down the temperature to an acceptable level however it was usable even if rather warmer than normally comfortable. Slight issue with beer kegs being moved outside in yard on a Friday morning at 7.45am, we were up and about but others may not have been.

The location was excellent, beds were very comfortable & it was clean. Parking available & staff were welcoming.

There's no lift, renovations going on we weren't told about, early morning noise on Friday morning lots of drilling. Heating was intermittent room felt a little damp, key card didn't work to room, had to go to reception 3 times. Up and down 2 flights of stairs. Room was at very back of establishment at top floor. Breakfast 1st morning in bar was lovely, very short staffed though, 1 girl was rushing trying to do everything. Didn't get toast until we'd finished hot breakfast. No choice in dining room on 2nd morning, no toast or orange juice given. No menu's, no fruit or yougurt available. Staff were very rushed and there was nobody on reception to speak to. Seemed like the one waitress was doing the dining room, bar & reception.

Lovely, smart, modern hotel in a lovely village

Girl at reception was really lovely when we checked in at night. No staff in bar so we left after 5 mins as we couldn't order a drink, this was at around 10pm. Next morning there was no staff to greet customers at breakfast, no juice, no milk, no tea, no cutlery, no fruit. One waitress eventually arrived to take a cooked breakfast order but she seemed under serious pressure. Food was lovely when it did arrive, but we never did get a pot of tea. Otherwise a lovely hotel

The comfortable bed, late check in. Right room temperature. Nice size room. Clean.

Shower could of been warmer, but was still usable. Toilet seat was very old looking, could be doing with a change. The guy cleaning the tables at breakfast spayed the disinfectant spray onto the table's so much I could taste it over my breakfast. This is just a training tip to spray the cloth instead. Woken very early by what sounded like beer kegs being moved about. Just small details but genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was excellent .unexpected Vegetarian option of omelette which was delicious . Try and you .

Room was extremely warm being in the top floor. Only One sash window opened and the other only a short way. The reception staff kindly provided a fan when we asked if there was one available which helped. The kettle flex didn’t reach the power point which could be an issue for some. The cups could be bigger as we like out tae but that’s only a very minor point . Overall we loved our stay . Thank you .

Very handy location. Plenty of parking around the place. Despite being on the main road, our front room was very quiet. The room was very comfortable, bathroom looked recently decorated, very nice. But some of it was a little old. Breakfast was very good, though we had a bit of long wait for service. Would stay again.

Breakfast was fine. Beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Room was nice and comfortable.

Lack of lift was disappointing and difficult as stairs were long. Kettle in room had to be placed on floor to use. Milk in room was out of date and broke in the tea. Knob in the bath shower was broken and difficult to control the temperature.

Every member of staff expect one was super friendly and helpful. Even the lads in painting the stairway carried bags upstairs for us. Restaurant very comfortable and cosy and food was wonderful.

Just had one drink in the bar before dinner. Asked for both drinks (one G&T and one vodka coke) to be in the large gin glasses as this is our preference. Barman refused stating he only had a limited about of these glasses. The only other people in the bar were workmen drinking pints

Nice, helpful, friendly staff. Rooms were very clean, fresh towels offered each day. Room came with breakfast each morning.

The doors constantly slam all through the night. hallway doors, room doors. I wear earplugs to sleep & I could still hear the doors slamming. friends stayed at the hotel the same weekday as me & they said the same. Shame really as the hotel itself is great.

Staff was very helpfull and did extreme their best to give an excellent service. The food in the restaurant, in the evening and in the morning was of high quality and tastefully prepared.

Our room was rather noisy, their was an self closing door at ground level and when not closed with care made a loud bang each someone went in or out.
