The Angel Inn Hotel

Excellent location right in the centre of Pershore. Lovely character building with exposed beams, open fireplaces and lots of quirky pictures. On-site parking always a bonus. Room was pleasant, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was superb with lots of good choices - do recommend the Full English. We ate at the accommodation on three nights and on each occasion the service and food couldn't have been better. Experienced an issue with our bathroom but as soon as problem mentioned it was sorted so service couldn't have been better. Overall very much enjoyed our stay with excellent hospitality provided

Size of shower room was ideal but water pressure not brilliant.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. Our dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. The room we were allocated was very comfortable and bigger than expected. We loved the way the rooms all had their own names! The Nespresso coffee machine was greatly appreciated. The beautiful bath was especially luxurious! (though very slow to fill, which didn't really matter). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It is housed in a quirky old building with real character and has been beautifully renovated.

The bathroom felt quite chilly, as we couldn't work out how to turn the electric towel rail on. A written instruction on the wall might have helped!

Attentive, prompt service, Dining, breakfast, dinner, cosy dining in a wooden beamed 17th century pub with large fireplace, a warm and welcoming place.. Would I go again Definately - location is superb and a good central base for exploring with The Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester, the Malvern Hills, a plethora of NT houses and gardens al within easy range by car, and lots more places to walk or amble through...

The room was poorly heated, basically a selection of heated towel rails in the bathroom, and electric heater radiator. To be fair the building could not accomodate a central heating system of the modern kind without damaging several aspects of historic interest within the fabric of this very old building, but having said that the room did warm up and during the night got very warm and cosy but finding the right balance was tricky..

The whole place had received an update since we were there last and so we were pleasantly surprised. The Courtyard garden is a lovely addition and was a great cool place to have a drink and our breakfast. Plenty of car parking space and also the outside space bordering the river was a great facility that we had not previously been aware of.

For some reason there were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room and it wasn't clear if we could drink the water from the bathroom sink. Seems like Housekeeping had forgotten to leave these in the room. The hot and cold tap disks on tops of the taps kept falling off when we turned the taps on. We reported all these things to reception when we checked out.

Breakfast waiter was excellent being very polite and attentive Bar had a good ‘local’ feel to it Hotel building was old and fascinating Lounge chairs very comfortable USB sockets available in room

A couple of silly electric failures: Toilet hand drier stayed on so was turned off, despite being automatic - not a significant complaint until… Both my parent’s and my cousin’s showers only worked by holding down the power button! Apparently there was a toggle switch high up to pull first but, if this was the case then tell the customers about it!

Right in the middle of the town. Close to everything. The property was very quaint, comfortable, breakfast good, dinner excellent and the staff were amazing, especially Sam.

We had 3 rooms and unfortunately every-time I entered into my room I could smell dog. This place welcomes dogs, I love dogs, but not pleasant to be smelling dogs when entering your room. BTW…. The other 2 rooms did not smell of dog!!!!!!

The central location of the property, staff were very helpful and friendly, restaurant and bar food very good.

The hot water tap was too hot and whilst there was a warning sign, it wasn’t really useable for more than a few seconds. The bathroom window frame had also rotted in one corner, quite significantly and could have been filled/repaired as it looked unsightly and was full of cobwebs.

Great position in the town , nice decor and atmosphere inside , very pleasant evening meal.

Although the room was large and comfortable some small details let it down, broken and missing towel hooks in the bathroom, shower riser rail positioned in an awkward corner and loosely fitted to the wall. Seems strange after we were told the room had just been re-furbished to have easy to rectify faults that stopped us giving it a higher rating . We did enjoy our stay despite this and would return when visiting the area again.

Staff were very helpful - particularly Nathan who seemed to be working day and night!!

Bathroom was a little small in as much you had to close the door to get to the toilet as the shower and sink were to one side and the toilet the other side of the door - having said that I was alone in the room and it wasn't a problem - would have been more difficult if there were two of us.

bathroom safety - no non-slip surface in the bath, and no safety hand holds of any kind; the door opened itself readily; no shelf to hold make-up, medication etc. TV was far too quiet could not be turned up, we had to look up to it -cricked necks!
