The breakfast was delicious, plenty of it, well cooked and very tasty. The breakfast set us up for the day and we didn't need to eat again until the evening. The location was very close to the city centre which was within walking distance. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well.

There was nothing not to like about our stay at The Shrubbery. As explained to us there was no parking at the property but the owner was able to add our vehicle registration number to the local resident parking register and there was parking available a short walk away if unable to park in the few spaces along the road in front of the property.

The bedroom was amazing. The room was a very decent size and the bed was super comfortable. We made good use of the in room tea and coffee and all of it was tasty and good quality. The amenities in the room were also really nice and well stocked. The shower was really wonderful and easy to understand which I was happy about and the free shower gel and shampoo worked well and smelled great too. The free breakfast included as well was delightful with a really tasty large english breakfast, cereals, yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. Leslie was an incredible host and always attentive during the day and at breakfast and was a pleasure to talk to as well.

The WiFi tends to be in and out at times but even as people that play online games it was perfectly usable and was rarely an issue but it’s something to consider I suppose. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Location easily found, convenient street parking and fairly short, flat walk into the lovely city centre. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, en suite bathroom, decent sized TV with Freeview and DVD slot (we bought a couple from a local charity shop), and tea and coffee making facilities. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. Worcester itself has plenty of nice old buildings and pubs, a great feel and we had a fantastic meal in Impasto, although we were lucky to get a seat without booking in advance.

The shower was a little weaker than we like it although the water was nice and hot. On the second night there was a slightly annoying banging sound about every 30 minutes or so but we couldn't work out if it was in the building or not and forgot to mention it in the morning (and we slept fine as the bed was so comfortable). Because it was January many of the old houses and museums in Worcester were shut and the Severn burst its banks so the pleasant-looking river walk was flooded.

Location to town was very good being an easy walk to the central shopping area and down to the river. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The bed was comfy and the tray in our room was restocked daily with everything needed to make drinks. Leslie was a very welcoming host and helpful regarding any needs or guidance. Although parking is listed as Not Available Leslie offers a limited number of residential passes for parking a few minutes walk away.

Being so close to town, on the main road, means road noise is always going to be an issue although with the windows closed it becomes less intrusive.

Very clean, comfortable and orderly house in a great location, close to all attractions in Worcester. Room and bathroom nearby were both spotless, with all necessary facilities. Lesley supplied a lovely breakfast - continental or cooked - and there was a handy fridge in the dining room for guests' supplies. Nearby parking - free overnight - worked for me.

The room was way too hot at night for me, but that's a personal preference. The wall heater seemed to be turned off, but heat was coming in from elsewhere. I could open a window during the day, but at night this was not possible due to road noise.

Great location. Very comfortable with great breakfast and attentive host. Great communication from booking onwards and throughout my stay. very comfortable bed. en-suite shower room with good quality toiletries provided including ear plugs. Parking permit arranged by host with no hassle to allow parking near BnB. Delicious breakfast - ordered the night before - freshly cooked served when required. I will not hesitate booking The Shrubbery if in the area again.

Water pressure in the shower was low but water was plentiful and hot.

My Mum and I had a wonderful stay at The Shrubbery Guest House and were made very welcome. The host was warm and friendly - nothing was too much trouble - and breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and warm and just perfect to return to after a busy day exploring the city. If, like us, you have travelled by public transport, the guest house is right on a bus route which is handy when arriving with luggage but the city and train station are only ten minutes away on foot anyway - so it is great for location!

Host was friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable on local sights and shops, varied breakfast timings were good and breakfast was cooked to order, sausages were delicious, room was clean, great supply of tea and coffee making facilities, Lesley was a great host and would recommend here to anyone staying in Worcester. Lesley let us leave our suitcase there when we checked out so we could browse Worcester town before going back to pick it up for our journey home.

Lesley is an outstanding host. Friendly, available, and accommodating but also respects guests' space and privacy. The room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. The full breakfast was delicious! Great location within easy walking of shops, pubs, and transportation.

Although a fan was provided and windows could be opened, the upstairs room was quite warm (no air conditioning) during my stay (high temp about 80-84F/27-28C

Really warm welcome on arrival, allocated a room suitable for our needs. Leslie explained breakfast times . There were 9 of us travelling and we all received a fantastic breakfast within 3 or 4 minutes of each other. Rooms clean and suitable for our needs.

Our stay was pretty faultless,a couple of our group mentioned some traffic noise ,although it didn't spoil there overall experience.
