Woodlands 1590

Everything about Woodlands was excellent. Mark and Julie were the perfect hosts. They said they wanted me to feel at home and I certainly did. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect. I had everything I needed. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and set me up for the day. I had the cooked breakfast and it was all cooked to my requirements. The location is perfect because it’s very central. Easy to get to lots of places from there.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like. The weather could have been a bit better but not even Mark and Julie could do much about that 😂

The room was on the small side but was well furnished, clean & comfortable. For an overnight stay it was ideal. Only thing to improve the room would be a bedside table & light on both sides of the bed, if space allowed. Mark & Julie were friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was perfect and every request catered for with a smile.

I accept that ours was a late booking & for one night only so it is reasonable that we were allocated the smallest of the 3 rooms. Next time we visit we will request either of the 2 larger rooms. The lack of a bedside table to place a book, drink & reading glasses plus a reading light was the only drawback in an otherwise perfect visit.

Woodlands is situated in an excellent location and is within easy walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants Pershore is a relatively short drive away from a number of N.T. properties and gardens. Mark and Julie are very friendly and personable hosts. Their freshly prepared, home-cooked breakfasts were delicious. Home-made preserves and compotes were a bonus. It was also nice to end the afternoon relaxing in their well tended garden.

We really enjoyed our stay and if in the area again, Woodlands would definitely be our first choice of accommodation. I think our only negative would be a preference for a king or queen size bed.

Mark and Julie are amazing! They were super friendly and welcomed us for our stay, and remembered our names the next day! Breakfast was great, and the room nice and clean with comfortable furnishings. Great shower! I regret we were only there for one night, and wish we had more time. Will absolutely come back if we're in the area again

We had a party of 3 with me as the 3rd wheel. Our room had me on the converted sofa, which was of typical comfort. Not the worst I've been on by any stretch, and I slept great. Just know that THAT room is not a second bed with standard mattress. Would not prevent me from returning to stay on THAT sofa again though.

A great location and the noise insulation from the main road was excellent. Parking was nice and secure too. I received a very warm welcome from Julie on arrival and offered fresh coffee plus advice on the local restaurants on the best places to eat. The room was large, very clean and warm. The bathroom again was large with a lovely bath and massive separate shower cubicle. My cooked breakfast the following morning was excellent and again Julie and Mark proved to be excellent hosts. I would highly recommend staying here

The breakfast (full english) was delicious. You also had a choice of cereals and juices, all included in the price of the room. Very spacious room, (for 3 x people), exceptionally clean and comfy and tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits provided in the ensuite room. Very friendly and homely, would definitely reccomend

If I had to say something, it would be that we slept with the window open all night and could hear the occasional cars pass by... saying that we could have always closed the window 😁

Woodlands is situated at the end of the main street in Pershore - there are lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from for an evening meal, all within walking distance. The owners are lovely, very friendly and keen to help. This is the second time we've stayed and would definitely make a third visit. Breakfast was delicious and they were very accommodating with what we wanted. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a comfy bed and, on this occasion an enormous bathroom with a glorious roll top bath!

Everything! Our hosts were fantastic! Made us welcome from the first minute. We felt completely at home and very comfortable. This beautiful old property has been so sympathetically updated, very modern but the old charm is there too. The room was well equipped, everything we needed was there. Our bed was heavenly comfortable and breakfast EPIC! I don’t think I’ve had a nicer breakfast anywhere. Gorgeous home made jam and marmalade. We feel you cared for us like one of your own!

Not a lot! I suppose the heat! Not the fault of anyone, it’s just we stayed on a super hot night! Can someone turn the sun off?

There were multiple choices for breakfast and Mark and Julie were very happy to accommodate our preferences. Yummy! We also liked having a spacious bathroom with a full size bath tub and generous shower. 159 is on the High Street and a perfect location for exploring this pretty town.

The entrance by car into the property is tight, right at the traffic light junction. You’ll need a bit of patience. However, that’s not something that Mark and Julie can influence.

Julie greeted us in the car park as soon as we arrived she was very welcoming making us a pot of tea and chatting. Julie assured that we had everything we could want in the dining room, if bringing back a takeaway, we decided to eat the brill fish and chips from the riverside chip shop in the park next to the cathedral very nice area. the room was spacious and very comfortable, lovely shower. everything we needed Breakfast very good Mark was also very chatty and assured we had everything we wanted during breakfast. Even had beautiful wildlife cards made from his own photographs for sale
