The staff was absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The accommodations were attractive, updated, clean, and comfortable. The food served at the pub was delicious, and the menu was amply diverse. The coffee brewed in a French press each morning was always perfect, and complimented my choice of breakfast. The garden in the rear sitting area was beautiful, vibrant, well laid out, and nicely maintained, and the property is steeped in family history. In short, I am looking forward to my next stay there.

The very noisy heating/plumbing in my room was dealt with promptly when I informed the manager about it. The room was pleasant comfortable and clean. There was a warm relaxed atmosphere downstairs on arrival in the evening where I could have had a meal or drink if I had wanted. My room was quiet through the night. Good cooked breakfast. Fresh orange juice and large pot of lovely hot tea with breakfast much appreciated.

The heating system was having some problems and was making a lot of noise in my room in the evening (although this was sorted after a couple of attempts). The lady who served me in the morning for breakfast was preoccupied laying the tables for lunch later in the day and was not hugely warm or friendly or particularly attentive. It was as if I was a bit of an inconvenience to her that morning. Although I asked for jam for my toast it never arrived. Me asking what the ingredients in the muesli were because of allergies seemed to cause a certain amount of indignation and irritation which seemed a little unnecessary. The muesli was delicious but there was no yoghurt to accompany it and no fresh fruit was offered.

The food was excellent, and I would fully recommend that you try the restaurant for an evening meal. All of the staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly. The pub at the front has a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere to go have a few drinks before bed. The rooms come with a good-sized bed, tv, dressing table, wardrobe, mirror, and the en suite has a good-sized shower, toilet, and sink. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area, then this is the place to stay. All aspects of the place are brilliant.

The hotel was lovely and clean, the room was very nice and jade everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean and the shower was very nice. The bed was nice and comfortable, area and very quiet. The lady we met in the morning for breakfast was lovely, nice, and polite. Breakfast, although not massive it was very tasty and filled you up. Great quality ingredients. I would recommended for anyone wanting to stay in the area to stay here...

Nothing I didn't like.....

This is a place for people who look for real English experience, who do not like crowds, but enjoy authentic interiors, very nice and welcoming hosts and meeting new dogs ;) (place is dog-friendly). In the evening, we have stayed in the climatic pub (in the same bulding) and we had delicious ale. I had sore throat so I received specially prepared drink based on whisky and hot water (delicious as well). In the morning, you can try typical English breakfast (also in the vegetarian version) and the landlady can tell you her family story going back to mid XIX century, which is also story of the very building you stay in. We did not have a chance to explore the town, however we went for a walk and it was very pleasant. Further, we have travelled by car and the B&B has a big parking place, where we could easily park it. We really, really recommend staying at this place! I am sure, that we will come back should we have a chance.

The Fromeway was clean and comfortable. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The shower cubicle was a good size and the shower was lovely. The staff we met, (Hannah, Emily and Judy), were very welcoming and friendly and the food, (we ate at breakfast and in the evening), was excellent. The Fromeway is in an excellent location for touring being not far from Bath, (25 minute bus ride), Wells, Glastonbury and the lovely town of Bradford-On-Avon.

We found our room to be a little on the warm side overnight but didn’t open the window due to the early morning traffic noise. With the window closed traffic could hardly be heard but I expect an AC system would be very expensive to install and run. Only a small point from a very enjoyable stay.

An extremely friendly family run business. Very very clean room and en suite, great food and a good atmosphere.. We arrived Sunday afternoon when the dining was totally full and there were families (and dogs) in the queue but the atmosphere was brilliant and everyone including us were served with a smile in turn and to a very high standard.

For us the only thing lacking was a handset facility in the shower. A very minor thing.

Charming location. Emily is GREAT! The room was very good. Bed and bath were fine. The food in the pub for dinner was wonderful. Their pub is not open every night, but there are other eateries nearby. Try the Italian place down the street; it is outstanding. The breakfasts are well done.

Hard to find fault with this place. Good people, good rooms, good food, parking. All good!

The breakfast was amazing. Freshly cooked full English well presented, hot and delicious with a good choice. As much toast, tea coffee etc as we wanted. Hannah served us breakfast, her friendly, happy, efficient manner made it a good start to the day. Lots of choices on the menu for dinner, fish and chips and the Fromeway burger very very good . Good size portions and very tasty. The waiter was friendly and efficient

The fromeway was really welcoming - they were able to find us a table for dinner and the food was good. The rooms were decorated in a nice modern style and were clean. The breakfast had loads of choice and could pick a time between 7-10am . Free parking and could see car from the bedroom window

The location is ideal 15 mins from Bath but not a lot nearby but that didn’t matter to us as we were happy with their yummy food rather than leaving to go out ! FYI when we visited last orders 8pm
