Best Western Plus Centurion Hotel

The layout of the room was really good . We had a family room, which provided ample space for all party members. There was sufficient space for our luggage to be stored during our stay, and overall the standard of cleanliness within the room was excellent. We did report a leaking shower following our first nights stay, but this was fixed and the bathroom was given a little refresh afterwards. Can’t fault the response from maintenance and reception teams for rectifying this so promptly!

Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant did not provide a children’s food menu or offer smaller sized meals. As we travelled with our young son, there was very little choice of food on the main restaurant menu to cater for his palate. As a result we therefore had to pay full price for a half eaten meal! Hence the following evening, we decided to travel to the local retail village (Clarkes Village) in order to cater for our needs. Also on 2nd day, the main lounge area was setup for a wedding. Unfortunately there was no notification of this event or offer/advisory of an alternative area to sit/ relax during our stay.

Bedrooms clean with everything you need. Breakfast good. Very helpfull member of staff (didnt get her name) who went out of her way to make sure my 90 year old mother in law had a ground floor room & gave her a slip mat for the shower

Breakfast took a while to order. Had to grab a member of staff. Bar service not very efficient. Lovely lady working the bar but we wasnt told it was closing,so when we grabbed a member of staff to get a drink before bed & we were told the till was closed & there was no facility to put the bill on our room. Not the mans fault but reception should have made us aware of this when we checked in. Bed comfortable but squeaky

We booked three rooms, one had a king size bed, the others were standard doubles. All very comfortable. Our view of the gardens was lovely. The others had views over the front of the property. Gym looked good though we didn't try it. It seemed to be in an extension to the main building and was gradually being added to. Bar facility in the evening was very nice and the main lounge too was very comfortably furnished.

The breakfast options were not only difficult to understand price-wise, but the top price on the menu at £15.95 we found too expensive for six of us.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for more. The jacuzzi needed cleaning the jets, wasn't working properly but steam room was fantastic, very hot, brilliant, worked fantastically. Spinach ravioli was fantastic; the flavour of it was delicious. Everywhere we went, people were so friendly. It doesn't happen in Birmingham where I live. It was like being in different country.

Breakfast portions were to small for 4 star hotel but staff was very helpful. Dinner choice not best, small portions and not a lot of choice. Otherwise, fantastic place.

Welcome at reception, I wish I could tell you her name because she was fantastic. Very professional, very understanding to my situation and had a personality. Unlike most “robotic” check ins.

My son and I had breakfast but half way through I was asked to pay for it on the way out. This was embarrassing and awkward. I didn’t have my phone to show her my booking confirmation which showed that I had already booked/paid for breakfast.

The staff was absolutely amazing! So friendly and accommodating to us. Even assisted in getting me milk for my little one. All front desk staff were superb! Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Hotel was very clean in general and every one was lovely! Restaurant food was good!! we had the lentil and vegetable curry-absolutely superb! Restaurant manager was so lovely as well! My son had an amazing time - he didn't want to leave! will be back again for sure! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

There was slight mould on the blinds for the room and a little dust but honestly, not too fussed about it. restaurant menu could have had more variety for vegetarian or fish lovers for a 4 star hotel,these were the only downside to it. We didn't use the spa facilities this time.

Stayed in deluxe room which was very large and comfortable. The bed was huge, which is one of the main reasons we chose it as we can sleep with our little on in the bed too. The bathroom/shower was very luxurious and later on the room was extremely quiet. It also had a nice view of the garden/golf course.

Although it was quiet in the end (being Monday night) we heard a fair amount of noise from the next room (a suite) until around 10pm, so presumably not soundproofed. No AC - fine as we opened the window but on a very hot evening might be annoying. Mattress was a bit tired. On arrival were informed breakfast finished at 9am (we didn't partake).

The room was lovely, a great size, a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The food in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was very enjoyable, good flavours and a wide range offered. I would definitely come back.

I was only staying 1 night, but other facilities in the hotel weren't offered to me, as in it wasn't highlighted to me that I could try out the gym or its opening times.

Beautiful spacious room, we've stayed in this Deluxe room before, huge comfy bed, plwnty of clothes storage space, gorgeous bathroom with a two person shower, room overlooking the golf course, so nice view. Staff were all lovely, some familiar faces from our last stay 2 years ago.

I'm so sorry but this needs attention. The rain running off the roof and overflowing the gutter directly outside Leona suite window, sounds like a waterfall outside the window, made worse by my need for fresh air and having the window ajar. Loved our stay, sorry to complain x

Great location to commute to and from Longleat Safari Park for the Festival of lights. Size of the room. Cleanliness of the room. Easy parking

Service was slow for breakfast. Breakfast items weren't being replenished quick enough which meant we had to ask for stuff. E.g. juice, plates for toast. The receptionist when we checked in had to be prompted by us for directions to our room. More details would have been better, but she was well mannered.
