Draycote Hotel And Whitefields Golf Course

We stayed in the superior room with steel bathtub, very high spec room and bathroom. Staff were very friendly, dinner and breakfast were outstanding.

The room was hot through the night, air con was needed. Generator positioned outside the room kept kicking in throughout the night. Breakfast was outstanding, the coffee machine and toaster needs to be moved away from the end of the buffet line as caused a queue. Dinner waitress was new, asked for a salad dressing, she had no idea. We ordered extras and she didn't know how to charge to the room so hounded us in the lounge area.

Loved our stay. It was such good value for money. We had been to Silverstone and it is so hard to find local accommodations. The hotel was 40 mins away but a straight run. The entrance to the grounds which includes part of the golf course are lovely and so well maintained!. Greeted warmly and given our two rooms. The rooms are spotless and the beds are so comfy! There is no air-con but there are fans supplied in each room!. The rooms have everything you need. We slept perfectly and enjoyed a beautiful cooked breakfast with lots on offer. Such good value, the entrance and breakfast & bar area are lovely. Hotel is a little dated and tired but in terms of value and cleanliness it is excellent. Will definitely rebook.

Amazing room! Staff were amazing, it was my wedding day so had emailed the hotel to see if I could have an early check in so when we returned we could go straight to the room. Got a response from Jo who made sure this could be done so they had my room card ready for me when I dropped my car off at hotel, so I could go on to enjoy my day and return at night to relax! Staff went above and beyond and placed petals on the bed and made swans out of towels such a great touch! Thank you once again!

Nothing it was amazing

The staff were very friendly and didn't rush you either at breakfast or dinner. There was a good selection for breakfast and worth the price as it would have been a bit of a trek to eat elsewhere. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The facilities in the rooms were good: tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, even a fan. The bed was very comfortable.

The pressure in the shower could have been a bit stronger.

Great facilities, comfortable bed and the room was nice. Overall, loved the place and the staff were lovely. Good selection at the bar, nice outdoor area, nice environment.

Only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, paid £14.95 for each day to receive a somewhat mediocre breakfast, maybe produce a little bit less but more often? Eggs were like rubber and many other items were showing the signs of being left sitting under a warmer for too long.

We originally booked to stay the evening for a wedding we were attending. However due to our child being poorly, Draycote happily said we could change the date of our booking at no further cost. Whist on the phone and discussing suitable dates, the receptionist and I spoke about weddings etc and I mention my partner and I were due to get married and it was our 17th anniversary soon. Fast forward to our evening away minus our 3 children.... and we had a lovely surprise of towel swans and rose petals on our bed. Completely unexpected but was a lovely thoughtful touch. Our over night stay was very pleasant, we ate in the restaurant in the evening and thought it was very good value for money. The room was spacious and clean.....the bed was extremely comfortable too. So much so, we agreed it was one of the comfiest hotel beds we have had. Breakfast was the usual selection of cereals, fruit, cooked breakfast and also bread and pastries were available as a self serve. The breakfast was nice and fresh no complaints what so ever.

The room (on the ground floor) albeit lovely, was a bit noisy as a function was taking place. It wasn't so loud we couldn't sleep but for light sleepers it may have kept you up. The only other niggle was the bath was extremely small. So if anyone wanted a bath... I hope your small. I'm 5ft 7 and a size 12 and I struggled to sit comfortably in it.

The bathroom. Needed a walk in shower, we had a bath. Being slightly disabled couldn't climb into the bath. Hands are disabled, so couldn't access the soap. needed a none slip mat in the bath, but staff couldn't provide one. Would have been nice to have a hook on the back of the door for a dressing gown.

Excellent staff at check in (I didn't catch her name but she was young and had a non-British accent - she was very helpful with booking a table for dinner, and found me some extra teabags!), and brilliant service in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious - fish and chips, burger, panna cotta, sticky toffee pudding.

Exceeded our expectations - we just wanted somewhere to spend a night away not too far from home, and very conveniently located near to Draycote Water and other nature reserves which we visited during the day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, when asked for anything would facilitate quickly and without question. The room was a good size, and very clean. The price was superb for the service we received and we will be visiting again, may be for longer next time.

Nothing would need improving. On a side note, which is not a reflection on the hotel, I would like to advise that when getting near hotel follow a map for directions, two of our sat nav apps sent us past the hotel,

Spotless, bedroom was great, huge bed, good shower etc. very clean throughout.

Unable to book food and drink to the room. I felt as though the hotel staff and management thought I was going to run off without paying. Tried on the first night to book food and drink to my room to pay when checking out, I was told this was not possible. Very odd with a. Hotel as nice as this. The staff were very fast to bring the bill over. Almost felt rushed.
