Room was lovely an spacious. Hot tub was lovely. The surroundings/views were simply stunning

Only slight disappointment was paid for private hot tub use, was then informed after that we wouldn't have it completely private for our full stay

I loved the location it was an idyllic place. The Cottage was very relaxing and comfortable. Slept like a dream and to wake up looking over the beautiful walled garden was perfect. We came down for a wedding so didn't have time to use the hot tub. Lots of nice walks for our Black Labrador and so nice having a safe garden for her to roam while we sat outside the patio doors. I Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

I took my wife here for our anniversary weekend, it is a very beautiful place to visit, the accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the surroundings absolutely beautiful. The host Beverly is such a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble she even gave us a lovely bottle of bubbles to enjoy in the hot tub. My wife and I had a very relaxing weekend and we will definitely be back next year.

I loved the hot tub and the fact that it was for our private use. The gardens were lovely and the walks with our Dog. It was pet friendly. We had WiFi and a TV and the owner supplied some continental breakfasts for our stay. Parking was right outside. There were horses and sheep and cows .. Horses were very friendly. The pub was also within walking distance. Locals were very welcoming too.

I would say that the shower cubicle needs an update and maybe a freshen up. Being a Housekeeper for a big company the cleaning was not to a standard that I would have preferred but I think the owner is aware of this and is looking for a housekeeper. Fridge would be better off the floor as it was quite uncomfortable on the back. There seems to be a new building being made at the entrance so was not pleasant to look at .. but we stayed around the back and gardens.

The location was superb it was so peaceful nestled in lush green countryside. A couple of nice footpaths nearby for early morning walks. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. I loved the garden area too great place to sit and contemplate and enjoy the sunshine.

Only thing I wasn't keen on was the deeply gravelled parking area. But that was only because I was on a motorbike.

Beautiful surroundings. Extremely comfortable bed. Didn't see anyone else other than the lady who owns it a couple of times. I would definitely book again.

The fridge in the room hummed quite loud. TV signal weak. Neither of these things bothered me enough to stop me from staying again.

Me and my partner had a fantastic time. I booked the weekend to propose to my partner and Beverly the lady who owns the property left bottle champagne at our door when we came back. The hot tub was amazing and the views was spectacular. I will definitely be booking again. I would highly recommend this place.

There was nothing I didn't like weekend was perfect.

We had a wonderful one night stay here at the end of December as a bit of a change of scenery when the COVID-19 lockdown eased slightly. The room is situated at the end of a large main farm house, but was still very private and we were left to our own devices once the very friendly host, Beverly, welcomed us in. The room was large and had all the facilities we needed including tea, coffee, and Beverly even laid out fresh fruit and some chocolates. We paid a little extra (£35 for one night) to have the hot tub switched on, which is located round the back of the main house. We weren't really there long enough to explore the area much, but there were two lovely pubs a short walk away and Beverly mentioned a few scenic walks we would have enjoyed if we had the time. A very pleasant stay!

Nothing!

If you are looking for a romantic weekend away, away from the world in the middle of the countryside then this is a great place to go. Even if you are looking for a couple days to yourself to unwind , think and relax. I would also recommend booking the hot tub for your stay. There is a country pub round the corner (the countrymann) for which the dinners they make I was not expecting. Was more like food you would expect from a 5 star restaurant.

As it says above, the property has a view across countryside to incredible sunsets (you can see them from the room - the photos are from two different evenings). Also great place to walk. Service was first class and the room was lovely. Overall brilliant combination of traditional rural with Wi-fi that actually works. I’m going back
