EVERYTHING! Location - bang in the Centre close to everything. Staff - Couldn't be nicer. Chatty. Welcoming. We got a free drink on arrival. Locals - Very friendly. We had a few drinks in the hotel bar and the locals were all chatting. Even in other pubs locals were buying us drinks and chatting. Room - Fantastic. Newly decorated. Very modern. Very clean. Very spacious. Hotel - Even though its above a pub it was not noisy. You are a couple of floors above the bar so no noise can be heard. Parking - We managed to get free on street parking in the next street from the hotel which was a 2 minute walk.

That we only stayed for one night!

very central, walking distance to everywhere. room was very clean and fresh and a decent size 😊 staff were very welcoming and owner was super helpful when I phoned with some questions just before my booking.

my only thing I found, as a female getting ready for a wedding, the heights of the mirrors were a little high when I was sitting down ( maybe I’m just small! ha!) and couldn’t use the long mirror due to no plugs near.. but that’s me just being fussy.. everything else was perfect!

Lovely room very well equipped with toiletries and drinks. Also a full size ironing board and iron. The hotel and the room had been recently decorated and the room was extremely clean. The staff were helpful and friendly and the bar area was nice. We also had the benefit of a lovely sea view. We only stayed one night as we were catching a ferry but the next time we would like to stay a little longer.p

The only downside was no car park, however there is on street parking and a large car park nearby

Very nice rooms beautifully decorated Twin beds which seemed larger than a standard 3 ft single bed , very comfortable. Lovely large shower cubicle , shower gel and liquid soap very nice touch .

No plug socket anywhere near a mirror. Two useful mirrors near each other close to bathroom area but no sockets to plug hairdryer in. Hairdryer provided but curly flex cable wouldn’t stretch far and trying to style hair with tight flex and no mirror was frustrating.

Modern comfortable room & beds. Spacious bathroom, also modern and accomodating. Responsive friendly ownership and staff. Adjoining pub and several restaurants within a short walking distance. Price was very good compared to comparable properties.

Street parking is somewhat challenging. However you can pull up in front to unload bags and then park on the side street around the corner. Breakfast is not available.

Outstanding in every way!! The room was 1st class very clean had everything from tea and coffee to tissues, quality toilet paper and shampoo etc beautiful building Very friendly staff Would definitely highly recommend Absolute pleasure to stay with you and a fantastic start to our holiday Before catching the ferry to Ireland

There was nothing the rooms and staff was exceptional

I found this hotel on Booking.com whilst looking for a 2 night stay and couldn't beleive how nice it looked for the price. I was definitely not dissapointed. The member of staff who checked us in was so helpful. We went down to the bar later on and it was a great atmosphere and everyone was so friendly. The room was a great size and the bed was comfy. Plenty parking in the streets surrounding the hotel. I am just home and have already booked to go back.

Property was spotless and everything we needed and more was in our room all the staff from the cleaners,bar staff to the owners of the hotel themselves were so friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit to places for eating out .highly recommend giving this property a visit you will not be disappointed .xx

Couldn’t fault this property or the staff.

Location was very good. Rooms were spacious and clean.

One room was above outside drinking area and people using it were a bit noisy which kept our daughter awake into the early hours. No breakfast available. A breakfast basket of cerals/croissants etc could be an option. Would have been good to have information on where breakfast could be purchased.

Lovely modern hotel in a central location was brilliant for all amenities that we needed to reach. Staff where very friendly and helpful from the day we booked until the end of our visit. Overall brilliant hotel will definitely return.

Mattress could do with being replaced as was too soft. Otherwise no fault could be picked.
