Nice big family room on the top floor with a view lots of room for 4 people. Very quiet location, close to the train station and the town. The food in the bar was fantastic, m partner had a steak that was cooked to perfection and I had a steak pie that had lots of meat in it. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

We missed room service as we were having a lie in so breakfast (continental served in your room) wasn't replenished for the second night so we didnt have enough milk for breakfast. I'm sure a tray could have been left outside the door or a note passed under the door to collect it later from the bar.

Lovely spacious room, comfortable beds and fabulous shower. Nice view to the front of the sea and Ailsa Craig and of the hills to the back. Walking distance to all the local shops and the beach. Good parking outside hotel both at the front and the back. My grandchildren loved having a bed each in their own wee attic like nooks. Nice lounge bar where we had a drink and taught the girls how to play dominoes. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but they had quite a variety on the menu and do kids meals too. The stairs up to our room were no bother to the girls but my old knees needed a rest half way. We had a lovely weekend, hot and sunny and were happy to have a room with a window back and front to allow a little air in. Good storage space for all your clothes too. It was a continental breakfast, milk and fresh orange juice in the fridge in your room with fruit, croissants, yoghurt, cereals etc. There was a hairdryer and iron in the room if needed.

Clean room, the family room we had was at the top of the building so well away from any noise. Girvans a quiet town anyway so no problems. Continental breakfast was good with a great selection in the room. Fresh orange juice and milk everyday. En suite bathroom was clean and loads of hot water

Nothing really. It’s a hotel with a public bar so a little noisy on Saturday night with the football on but that’s not a complaint, just something you may want to join in

The staff went above and beyond for the less able guests.The lady behind the bar, and the cleaning lady were especially helpful.

The room could have benefitted from a little tlc, everything was adequate.

Spacious room which was really clean and comfortable. Had a great night sleep. Fridge with fresh milk and orange juice was a lovely touch.

Bathroom was a bit compact and dark and needed a couple of minor fixes but that's the only fault I can find.

Nice cosy bar Lovely landlord/ manager. Very close to the main town Accommodated parking my small boat in a good carpark. Thanks for having us at the last minute it made our weekend.

Cleaner Elaine very helpful and Paul also very pleasant person hotel perfect for couple days break and 8f anything wrong just tell them and sorted quickly well stocked room for coffee continental breakfast fruit etc

Great continental breakfast in room complete with yoghurt, fresh milk, lots of fruit and pure orange due to rhe fact that there was a small quiet fridge in the room. Which meant good covid measures as little contact. Free sky sports. They even had conditioner along wirh shampoo and body lotion. Great value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice towels and toiletries and good view to sea. Fridge and fruit in room. We both slept well.

The hotel.advertises a cooked breakfast but has replaced this with continental in the room.

We had a family room , nice and roomy , bed was so comfortable, continental breakfast was good

Would have preferred a cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast was good.
