We had a lovely room with a balcony which meant on a really muggy and warm night we could sleep with the doors open all night and we slept well. A nice big bath, which sadly as being disabled I could not use, a step up to it or something may help. The food in the restaurant was just what was needed the night before and great home cooked dishes with a nice ambience and quite busy. All the staff were attentive and great with the service and advice. We really enjoyed our stay just a pity it was overnight only.

There was nothing apart from the lack of bath access but that's my fault as I did not mention I was disabled.

The location is excellent for the RN base at Yeovilton. The price was good and the staff tried to please.

There was nothing major wrong at all, it was just the odd thing that let it down and some observations would be hard to fix. It was either the thin walls or the floor but I could hear the person next door talking and his tv till 01:30, I wouldn’t even say I thought he was shouting just not insulted for sound. For some reason my room didn’t have a TV remote which wasn’t too bad but a bit inconvenient. The whole place needs attention to detail with cob webs and dirty corridor carpets but it was v good value for money and I still give it 9/10. I’d certainly stay again

Quite pleasant inn and pub in a most remote area on the outskirts of Yeovil "lost" in the middle of the countryside. Lisa - if I remember correctly - serves very nice food, too and is very helpful.

Be prepared to have to look for The Walnut Tree inn and pub and cope with the winding twists and turns of the local roads. But it's quite fun, actually. Head for the Yeovilton Naval Air base nearby and you'll get there eventually.

Bed was very comfortable, room (Alder 12) was very clean, with good facilities. Staff very friendly. Breakfast very filling ( juice, cereals, toast, full English and tea or coffee, nice to have Marmite as well as jam and marmalade on offer). Very good value.

Nothing at Walnut Tree, just the minor fact that there is now only one access road off the A303 to West Camel which can be difficult to find coming back in the dark.

The staff were amazing and the room we had was very convenient as we were able to take our dog. The room was clean. The dining room was good.

The property has had some updating but the accommodation where we stayed needs it too. The outside area lets it down as there is old furniture, mattresses and rubbish stacked by the bins, so quite unsightly.

Great value for money. Welcoming and quick check in. A quaint period building with good food, good service and very clean. Easy free parking as well.

Installation could have been better in our room as it was a little noisy from voices and ventilation fan from adjacent room. Would have liked firmer pillows but that’s just a personal preference.

Comfortable accommodation. Good food, reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

The room had doors opening onto a balcony, but no window. We were not comfortable leaving the balcony doors open all night, but that meant the room get hot as there was no window to open.

The price was good and looked nice when searching. It was also a half way point for our final destination

I felt the room was very cold and could be damp in the winter. Blind in the atheism could do with a cleaner update and the door curtain needs some attention

The Manager and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Had an Evening meal which was very good. Full English breakfast looked extremely good, although we opted for the Continental breakfast which was sufficient for our needs.

Nothing.
