Best Western Plus Gadsden Hotel & Suites

The rooms were spacious, the staff is amazing, the grounds are well kept, the breakfast was great and I loved that there was a coffee machine where you can pick things other than just regular coffee such as lattes and cappuccinos. Check in was super easy and fast. You are also close to restaurants, close enough to walk if you wanted to. There is also a Walmart directly across the street at the light so if you run low on something you could literally walk across the street and get it.

The beds are not soft however I was able to sleep comfortably because it is the perfect firmness. You have to cut the TV on by pressing the button on the TV because the remote will not turn it on but it will cut it off and control the channels. The AC did not seem to keep the room cool despite having a ceiling fan. When my daughter and I were eating breakfast, there was a cleaning lady that had a staring problem, and she also stared a hole through us as we were leaving the parking lot. This made me feel uncomfortable but all in all the rest of the stay was excellent.

The check in lady was awesome. She was so very helpful and polite. My husband was hungry, so the little store you had available was a life saver. He said it was the best 6.00 he had spent in a long time! The breakfast was so good.

we got the last room and our water pressure wasn't very good when we took our showers. I used up all of the hot water so my husband had to take a cold shower. Our room was a handicap room and I must say it was very big and accommodating. I would have given a 10 rating but the water pressure was why I didn't.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, ceiling fans were a bonus! They offer breakfast but we didn't utilize this so not sure how it was. The rooms are huge compared to other hotels of similar styles. Friendly staff, speedy check-in and check-out, elevators, super soft comfortable beds, clean bathroom.

Elevators are small, so a small family trying to use the elevator with the bell boy cart is a tight fit. Not pet friendly, which is no good because we would have booked again if we were allowed to bring our dog or other pets (reptile show in the area).

It was great to have a decent breakfast. Check in and check out was pleasant. The manager was professional and so friendly, as well as her staff. They took the time to talk to us and listen to our stories. Made us feel like family. The breakfast area was kept clean and stocked with warm and cold, fresh food and drinks. Biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, muffins & breakfast pastries, waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, orange & apple juice, coffee, Very good breakfast! Housekeeping was excellent. Very clean facility. We definitely recommend this place!

The location was in a very nice area amongst various restaurants and right next to the interstate. Guest services staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

House keeping needs to pay closer attention to the cleanliness of the rooms because the sheets that were on the bed of the room that we had was wrinkled as if someone had been sleeping on them. Also, they had strands of hair on them. I called guess service down to change them out. Thermostat on the wall didn’t work so I had to adjust the temperature from the unit itself.

All the staff we encountered was friendly without being annoying. The bed was very comfortable, linens were very nice, bathroom was clean. It was very nice to have a sofa!

The room smelled like wet dog. Maybe the carpet had been cleaned and was left damp without adequate ventilation? Smell never went away, but carpet did not feel as damp the next morning.

The desk Clerk who checked us in was awesome. The room was great with the sitting area and sleeping area. All in all we will stay there again.

The fact I wanted adjoining rooms and there was another person was put in between the 2 rooms. It would have been more convenient since I requested adjoining rooms at booking.

The size of the rooms the rooms were extremely large and the sitting area in the suites is completely separate from the sleeping areas that is a very nice upgrade for most hotels.

How inconvenient it was that all the ice machines were broke on every floor and there was no one available to repair them during my stay. So through my whole stay if I wanted ice I had to leave and go to the local fast food restaurant to get a cup of ice very inconvenient.

Clean and felt safe and staff was very accommodating

The patio did not have enough shade but that really couldn’t be helped with the way the sun was beaming at the angle on it but maybe they should add an addition onto the building like a sunroom has

We stayed for a single night during a trip from SW Louisiana to Tennessee. Half of our party experienced issues with the room and had to be relocated twice, which the front desk clerk was happy to do, even though it was about 1:30 in the morning when we finally checked in.

Nothing comes to mind. We were mainly just looking for a place to put our heads down for a few hours before getting back on the road, so we didn't want or expect much. I have nothing negative to say, because we weren't there long enough to find anything negative.
