Lakeside Inn

I like everything about this place. Friendly folks at check in. And that is fast and seemless. The rooms are always clean and cozy. Beds are very comfortable, they have a nice TV provider and many channels. There is never any noise or drama, everyone there for the same thing it seems. If you get a view on Guntersville you can be mesmerized by the lights and the water. Hillside is just as nice, you look up a very tall mountain/hill. All in all it is my favorite place to stay. I have zero complaints about this hidden gem.

Very basic room but it looks like it's been updated recently. Newer carpet, newer TV etc. The room came with a mini fridge and microwave. We arrived early and asked if it was possible for us to check in early and we were able to get to our room right away. The gentleman at check-in was very nice.

The check in was done at the after hours window. They might have been in the process of remodeling the lobby so, no big deal.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very polite. The rooms were clean and it was peaceful. A nice place to stay. We will book with them again.

They do not offer breakfast of any kind. Also I booked a smoking room but unfortunately we were put into a non-smoking room. The price was not horrible but not offering breakfast, the price was a little high Overall a nice place to stay.

Loved the room. Simple. Easy. And very affordable. Will stay again in the future and they will have my business again and again!

The room smelled smoky. But that went away and did not deter us from enjoying the comfort of the room! I really enjoyed myself!

The location was excellent for all we wanted to do in Guntersville. We had a little view of the lake. The air conditioner did it's job.

The size of the toilet. We are older and actually need an elevated toilet, but our room had a very low toilet, and it would be more conducive for a child.

The personnel at check in was excellent and super nice and friendly! 2nd stay there and was very pleased.

Gave an 8 score due to much of the room being rather dated.. However it was roomy and clean. Had a great stay!

easy location to get to plenty of parking for a boat very clean room. Staff was very friendly comfortable beds.

they didn’t offer continental breakfast when the website said that they did. no coffee in the lobby lobby was locked.

The bed! I wish I could've brought it home with me! Close to a grocery store and fast food.

No complaints. The settee looked like a dog had chewed on it, maybe they could cover that up? Otherwise a great room for a great price. Also, it was a good size

Great room, new carpet, bedding bath fixtures, large TV, excellent web connection, place to park the boat iwth electric hookup, near boat ramp, restaurants, grocers, very clean, friendly, water view

My son and I went to fish Lake Guntersville. Staying at the Lakeside Inn was a great choice, made our stay even more enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, very nice staff and boat parking. There are stalls for boat and truck to park without disconnecting trailer. There is also power outlets at the boat parking. There is a public boat launch a half mile away, you can see it from the second floor. Grocery store and restaurants next door. 😎
