Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Gadsden

Hotel is not fancy, but nicely decorated and furnished. Location is ideal if traveling on Rte 59. Staff checking in and out were professional, but also very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and had all the basics. Included breakfast had a variety of breakfast foods, including coffee and juice; large space with plenty of tables.

Hotel shows some wear and tear because it is older, but that didn’t take away from my stay.

Everything was great. Very nice staff, food was great and very clean.

They loud people a floor above, room 322. Let their child run up and down the room, jumping and shaking the walls in my room. I called downstairs to report, and it got worse. Would be nice to have young children and their family on the opposite end of hall from business people here for work. Woke me from a dead sleep .

The location was great to get food and other essentials that may have been forgotten, I did not have a car so had to walk to stores or restaurants. The beds were super comfy and the room very clean. Being able to watch movies or stream shows was great. Breakfast served in the morning was a great perk as well as the pool.

There was only one taxi company available to get back to the airport. No uber service or shuttle service. I know this is not the hotels issue but really the only thing that was a bummer.

I like the location of this property because it is near restaurants and my family who lives there.

The rooms are a bit run down they need fixing up. my bathroom wall had splatter on the paint. Also the breakfast was nice but a lot of it tasted old and like frozen food. Also the walls are thin even with noise machines I could hear kids running down the halls every morning.

The front staff that checked us in Friday night was GREAT. She had a good attitude and held great conversation about my request and wants. She went above and beyond.

The breakfast was cold. The eggs, the turkey sausage was all cold. And no way to heat up it up , staff at breakfast area was not helpful.

The staff was really friendly, the hotel was very clean, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was really nice and the breakfast each morning was fantastic.

The refrigerator had a timer on it, so we had to keep turning it back on.

The property was very nice. The whole family enjoyed the pool and breakfast had a good variety of food. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better stay

Liked the parking accommodations and friendliness of staff, also restaurants in walking distance was ideal. Was impressed with the new door locks and streaming TVs. When I arrived I thought the hotel had been remodeled recently because of how well the hotel lobby looked. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great, location was great. Room was clean and beds were comfortable

Steady stream of water dripping from bathtub faucet, very loud. Curtains didn’t close all the way so security light shines into room directly onto bed all night long

Breakfast was not very inviting so we went out to eat. I think maybe some extra attention from staff would have been helpful. Luckily we were not there for the food so it did not make our stay any better or worse.

Staff was very friendly, the location was perfect for what we were in town for.
