The Admiral Hotel

We were disappointed because we made reservations for this hotel due to our daughter's family was meeting us there as they drove all night from Texas. Her family had eaten breakfast at this hotel two years ago and she wanted us to all have breakfast together at this hotel before we continued onto Florida for vacation. We were very disappointed as we would have stayed somewhere else if we had known your restaurant was CLOSED.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Mobile. It is one block of the revitalized downtown area. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere. The hotel is very clean and super classy! The entire staff was helpful and went out of their way to assure we were happy with our accommodations. If you are going on a Carnival Cruise, this hotel is less than 3 minutes from the port. Travel tip for Cruisers....Leave your car here and pay for a weeks parking. It is cheaper than the Cruise terminal. Take an Uber that will drop you right at the luggage porters, and let your fun begin quick and super easy!

I only wish I had found this amazing hotel earlier.

All breakfasts were amazing. Loved my advocado toast with blistered tomatos. I liked that when we asked if it was patty sausage or link she said “connecuh”. How appropriate offering a native Bama sausage.

The pool was used by people that were not staying in hotel. Maybe a little bit more control of pool to outsiders No help with luggage to rooms would have been nice. Bell hops may be an old trend

Staff was friendly and the room was really spacious. The restaurant was awesome 👌 food was delicious and the drinks were on point!! Prices very reasonable at the restaurant.Dennis Rocker deserves a pay raise.He was the cook and let me tell ya 😉 the food was delicious and he is so outgoing, very friendly. He's a keeper!! BARTENDER WAS AWESOME!! I WISH I HAD GOT HIS NAME.

I did not like the lighting in the room. IT WAS VERY HARD GETTING DRESSED AND PUTTING ON MAKE UP. THE ROOM NEEDS BETTER LIGHTING

I loved how clean everything was. The rooms was so nice. The staff was so polite . Smiling all the time. And I don't remember her name but she was working the bar and checking on our food. She was so nice. Personality was amazing. It was so great to be at a hotel where I was having a bad night because our food from one of those delivery companies never showed up. She made sure I had food for my kids. It was 45 minutes before closing and I was upset and worried and to see her make sure my kids had food and just her presence and Personality and smile made it all better. I knew it was going to be better. It's was about 8:15 pm they were closing at 9pm. If you find her name please thank her again for me. Yes I paid for our food it was 72 dollars and some change and I tipped 12.00

I didn't like not having the extended hour because we came in for a cheer competition and I was willing to pay extra for a hour extended stay but once she told me it was because of short staff I completely understood. Covid has messed up alot of business .

great location for downtown bars and food places - comfy rooms - - great valet arrive staff and nice food options and great bar staff especially craig and harry ! we stayed for our sons graduation at mobile university so handy for the uni and local facilities and easy location to find - only $35 Uber fare to airport

The front desk staff was amazing, the valet…. Not so much, I wanted to valet my vehicle, he offered so I unloaded my car and waited he never came back to my vehicle, so when I went to the valet stand he said he had me set up for self park…. So I had to reload all my stuff. I think he was about to get off work but traveling as a single women I didn’t want to park around the block in an empty parking garage in an unknown city! I was NOT happy!! The Resteraunt’s close early and didn’t seem to be open for breakfast.

Only one elevator was working during my visit but they had a second elevator for staff only I did not find out until I was about to leave and it was during Mardi Gras so there was high traffic in the hotel we were waiting on elevator for over 10-15 minutes at a time

Nice location and easy to walk downtown and great view. Breakfast was good and the server was excellent! Valet was a plus!

There is some updated they could go. Room doors need to be painted to match the Very Nice impression you get when you walk in the front. Elevators need to be cleaned. Pool area was nice but could use a good cleaning. Chairs had tears and mold on them.

The building is beautiful as was our room. Customer Service was delightful. The room was easily cooled after arrival (i like a cold room to sleep in) and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is gorgeous and clean. There isn’t a lot of noise from the street so the room was quiet.

The walls are very thin. We were awakened a couple times throughout the night by the guests in the next room as they arrived, departed and arrived again in the middle of the night. I could easily hear every word of their conversations as the AC nor tv we’re on . Makes for a long day of traveling when not well rested.
