Baymont by Wyndham Tuscaloosa

The front desk clerks were very friendly and check in/out was super quick. The first room was not great (bed unmade, felt damp, smelled bad), but the csr at the front desk changed it right away with no problem and the second room was great! The towels were full-sized and thick. They also provided a small hand sanitizer, which was very thoughtful.

The room was on the second floor (nothing available on the bottom - no one's fault, as I didn't request that prior to coming) and was a little smaller than what I'm used to, but for the price, it was pretty good. The toilet was wobbly and flushed kind of loudly, but it was nothing that would make me hesitant to stay there again.

The breakfast room is centrally located and clean, but a little crowded. One or two fewer tables would improve it - it was never busy when I was there. Basic selection of waffles, bagels, muffins, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juices, cereal, yogurt, etc. The rooms have been renovated recently, with mostly new furnishings but older fixtures. Overall, clean and comfortable, and a great bargain. Convenient location next to I-20/59 and a 10 minute drive from the University of Alabama campus.

Noise - there was a loud party in a nearby room. Air conditioner was also quite loud. There are a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but walking to them is inconvenient due to lack of sidewalks.

Our first room was not clean and it smelled like stale smoke. We switched rooms. The second room was better but it also was not very clean. I cleaned the bathroom with Clorox cleaner myself. The overall just needs more care. Everything just seemed dingy.

Location, bed slept well. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Housekeeping staff very friendly and kept room in great shape.

Roaches! Front desk kept putting off having something done. We understand when you have kitchenettes in rooms you have that risk. That's why we took our own action and purchased Pine Sol to kill them. TV stations were terrible.

The hotel is convenient to everywhere in Tuscaloosa! the staff was outstanding! our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, but they immediately found us a room that was ready. Our room was cozy and clean!!! I was truly impressed with the housekeeping staff and how clean our room was.,We would stay there again!!

it was clean but going through much needed repairs.

very strong chlorine smell inside the room. I’m appreciative that it was cleaned but it was so strong that I had to leave the door open for about an hour to readjust. Also other renters/workers were meeting up in front of my door for some reason. They carried on til late nigh and the next morning garbage was in front of my door. I understand that may be an isolated incident

Overall this was a great one night stay.. they had a wonderful breakfast.. that was comfortable. Close the a few restaurant and Lowe's.. the guy at the front desk was really nice and helpful tried to accommodate me in any way. This was the evening shift after 5:00 not sure if his name but he had great customer service

I can say only that maybe a little upgrade maybe new carpet.. looking kind of old and dingy.. and maybe new lamps or some paint they are really rusty..lol and maybe a little better dusting needed...

Everything was great just hate the breakfast was not like the check in receptionist said there was no biscuits n gravy and the person replenishing the juice and the water down coffee was not friendly at at all and there was can of biscuit gravy just need to be warmed up and put in the crockpot. Disappointing she was.

The price was very good. The bed was a large king. A fridge was not listed, but it had one.

The furniture was too big for the room. One of the nightstands was turned sideways so you could not open it. The air made a noise when it was running.
