Rodeway Inn Tuscaloosa near University

The staff was very pleasant and accommodating especially Brain very nice gentleman. Very attentive when you entered into the building ready to assist you with any questions or concerns

The room smelled of smoke and the carpet had a strong odor when you walk down the hallway which I did inform staff and the manager and they explain that someone was come to clean it.

Everything was great location was perfect

It’s really nothing but the water pressure in the shower wasn’t always good

I enjoyed the friendly staff, especially Alexandria. She was very receptive to my needs, and she made sure that my daughter and I were comfortable.

I didn't like that the first room had a dirty shower. I also thought that it was a double queen instead of a single queen.

My second time staying here! I think in my last review I said I was freaked out by the showers. Because it's kind of pod-like, it has this kind of optical illusion to it that makes the back wall of it appear endless. Or it's most definitely just me. Yeah, probably just me. Well anyway, I got over that weirdness and just as before, absolutely enjoyed my stay.

This was my first time staying for two days so I assumed we would get fresh towels in the room after the first night. We didn't but maybe it's due to COVID regulations or something?? I don't know, it's just a minor complaint though.

Rodeway exceeded my expectation for the price. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom/Shower was great. No complaints. Will stay here again when in town for school.

My room location was close to the front desk and lobby area so it was a little noisy. Walls did seem thin, could hear other guests tv programs.

The place was exceptionally nice. Clean! Relaxing atmosphere. Comfortable and Spacious room. The receptionist (I think also the owner) was so kind and helpful. Recommended a great restaurant.

Didn’t make it to breakfast unfortunately. The location was great for move in for my freshman at University of Alabama. It was great having a pool since it was so hot out. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast could have been a little later.

The breakfast was ok but still good. The main thing I liked the most was the friendly manager he was very supportive and attentive and even allowed us to book our room early. Also the remodeling of the motel was exceptional and felt like staying at a 5 Star resort. Would definitely stay there again or recommend it to family and friends.

the back parking lot needed some clean up and there was some people just sitting in vehicles at odd hours out there making you feel very uncomfortable

It was easy to maneuver and find parking. Room was tiny but clean and good for the value. It exceeded my expectations.

I don’t like the fact that that booking.com does not tell me that there is a $100 hold for staying at this hotel. I was only held at 50.00 and it’s yet to come back to me. This part can be a huge inconvenience for people. They prefer cash but I had none so. Ow I have to contact people to get my money back.
