Crowne Plaza Phoenix - Chandler Golf Resort, an IHG Hotel

The bar food was excellent. The room was on the ground floor and a corner room so it was quiet and quite large. The furnishing felt a little dated but the room was quite nice overall.

The room was next to an alleyway (within the hotel complex) that was used by the restaurant service staff and so it was actually quite noisy (especially early in the morning). It also meant that the small patio area was not all that private and we found ourselves breathing in the smoke from the hotel staff that smoked just around the corner (in the alleyway).

I like fact that it was a historical hotel and that there was a lot of history in the area. I also liked the amount of restaurant and shops near by and San Marcos golf course.

That when I booked my reservation I was given one price and upon arrival I was given a different price. I had to spend various hours during two days to get it corrected. The other issue was debris coming out of the air ducts.

I liked the lobby, the guest room and the staff. We had a few drinks at the lobby bar and the drinks were reasonable with good pours. I especially liked the rate even including the annoyingly elevated "fees and taxes'.

The breakfast place looked boring so I walked somewhere else. The food and service may be great but I didn't try it. I went to try to find the golf course and saw the clubhouse from afar as it looked like a lot of construction or something going on. Finally, I lot of the outdoor plants under the corridors looked like they were struggling or dead or both.

Wonderful location next to all kinds of restaurants and a beautiful little square with activities. It’s a beautiful facility with big spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent. We felt very safe here. The history of the building in the lobby was very interesting also.

It’s a very big compound with not many stairs! Obviously a minor point.

Lots of natural beauty surrounding the resort grounds. The location is perfect with walking distance to just about everything you could need or want to explore. The pool area was really nice but can get busy. Having a bar and restaurant on the premises was a great bonus!

A little creepy at night, was afraid to walk around after dark. Luckily there was security around the premises but still...heard and saw a few sketchy things. Also had a few technical issues with the tv and needed extra linens. Both of which took over an hour to get from the front desk. Patio areas need some updating with seating. Literally had a few lawn chairs and a wobbly table that had not been cleaned.

Great location, loved the facilities, the free drink at the bar was a nice touch, the live music was cool, really nice gym, and the property was well taken care of.

Our only complaint was the AC unit in our room. it made this really loud noise when it kicked on, sounded like someone was trying to break into our room which ultimately didn’t help our sleep.

The booking price was very fair. The hotel and staff were excellent. Easy check-in and room was ready earlier than expected. Loved the pool and hot tub! Beautiful grounds. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shopping. Husband enjoyed golfing at the course close to the hotel. Hope to return again soon!

No disappointments or things we didn't like.

Great location to many restaurants in downtown Chandler. Very easy to find. Pool was great and gym really good with windows to outdoors, water and towels - nice size and in good order.

The STAFF WAS the best part thank you all. They remembered us and treated us very nicely . Room was super comfortable and pretty clean. Beautiful place and love the hall with the history photos. We really enjoyed our one night stay. Will do again

Floor was a bit grimey needed sweeping and moping. I thought we were getting a free breakfast... later told we didn't get that (I saw it on the reservation) . Then we paid for breakfast steak and egg skillet . FLAVOR AMAZING ..... but very over cooked. Was expensive for over cooked food.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful! The snack and bar area is very nice and they have a decent variety of liquor and beverages.

The only downside was the distance from the room to the main lobby and pool but the walk was enjoyable with a beautiful scenery.
