Americas Best Value Inn and Suites Flagstaff

Principal staff were pleasant, thoughtful, and helpful, right down to helping me recover the phone charging cord I'd left behind. My room was tucked in a corner that was surprisingly quiet, given that a busy thoroughfare and rail line were close by. The room key worked well--never had to worry about a magnetic strip getting demagnetized.

As the weekend passed by, breakfast options became quite limited. In the room, the microwave turntable mostly failed to turn. Pillows were rather too bulky and stiff for my taste. Parking in the paved lot is quite tight, and it can be hard to pull out onto Hwy66 safely.

The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The refrigerator and microwave were clean and worked well. In room coffee set up was nice. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure and hot water. I often stay in smaller, family run motel/hotels for work, and this one is definitely one of the best in the area.

The outdoor lighting near my room was quite dark at night. I have a flashlight, but others might not.

The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean and linens were super clean. I have to travel back and plan to ask for the same room again. People mentioned the train but I really didn't hear it. The property is managed well and the non-snoking aspect is fantastic. My room didn't even smell like a hint of smoking like some hotels. This is my go to spot. It is off Route 66 but it's quiet. Thank you for a wonderful, comfortable stay and I'll see you all again in about a week!

The owner/manager was very friendly and likeable. The room was nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was somewhat limited but better than most. The location was OK - about a mile away from downtown - but that was fine with me. It snowed the night I stayed, and the manager was nice enough to make snow brushes available for cleaning our cars off.

It was a bit pricey, but Flagstaff proved to be somewhat expensive in general, so in comparison it was a good value. The refrigerator barely worked - the freezer section didn't freeze my icepack.

The owners take pride in the appearance of the rooms and the grounds. The patio area outside the office is a nice touch, as is the additional patio at the end of the building with a grill. We especially appreciated the little area for our pup to use the restroom complete with poo bags and waste basket.

Not much… we’d definitely stay here again.

It was a great location with a fair price. The breakfast was included. It wasn't sophisticated but we were happy that there is something to grab before leaving. The room was spacious and clean. You can sometimes hear trains outside when the window is open but with the AC there is actually no need to open the window. The staff was really nice.

I would like to see wider breakfast choices I have found at other America’s Best Value motels. The location is fine.

My only complaint is lack of good light in the room. I have the same complaint of any motel I have ever stayed in! I would also like to see a hrlper bar to get into the tub. Again this is a mitel wide complaint!

The location is fairly close to city center; The single-king-bed room was large and clean; staff was very friendly and helpful; Breakfast was very basic but enough for the price paid.

The bed duvet was short (I am about 6' tall) and there were no extra-duvets in the room; The AC/Heating unit was kind of noisy.

the bed and the pillows were very confrontable and clean. The place was very clean. I love that it had cable.

I wish there would have been another blanket on the bed. We need more warmth around us. I wish there would have been a bigger bar of soup for the shower. I like to take baths, and there was no stoper for the bathtub. I wish there would have been more shampoo.

The room was clean and spacious, considering the train tracks are across the street, it was very quiet. The breakfast room large with good basic breakfast options. Staff was friendly and helpful. A good value hotel would stay again when in the area.
