Super 8 by Wyndham NAU/Downtown Conference Center

I liked how they made shapes with the towels. They allowed us to check in early. I really appreciated them allowing us to have our dog. Rooms were very clean. Loved having the pool indoors. I loved the abundance of supplies : towels, cups, plates. Yummy breakfast. The cleaning service was great and kind. Front desk very nice and helpful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I love the decorations and wall art.

Pool needed to be vacuumed. Pool house windows needed so CLR cleaning. It would be nice if AC was closer to the beds. Having a half wall between AC and beds, blocked air flow. Walks are thin. We could hear neighbor's TV on around 3:30 am

The staff were super friendly and professional, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. This was a great location for us--would have been a nice walking distance to downtown if the weather had not been so extremely hot during our stay. It was nice to have access to tea and coffee at all times.

They are trying to make the most of a facility that has relatively small rooms and a small reception area. On our first morning, we found the breakfast area in total chaos--way too many guests were there at the same time. The layout was poorly organized.

This is an above average Super 8 facility. The price included a continental breakfast to a good standard. I particularly liked the print your own pancake machine. There was also access to drinks out of hours. The rooms have recently been refurbished and include a basic kitchenette, ironing facilities and an en-suite bathroom with a good shower. There is a swimming pool on site - which I didn't use. The sound proofing is good as you couldn't really hear the road or high volume of rail traffic. Central flagstaff "old town" facilities are a 15 minute walk but there are basic convenience facilities nearby.

Although you can see from the outside that the hotel is pretty old, they actually keep the rooms very clean. We also like that there is free coffee that is available 24/7. But the best part is discovering that the hotel is opposite a restaurant called "Himalayan Grill", which served awesome food!

Some improvements to be at par with similar star rated hotels - upgrade the coffee machine to have more coffee options (e.g. latte, mocha) rather than just black and decaf; provide variety of breakfast options on different days of the week; have some dress code to distinguish the reception personnel (some of them didn't look presentable)

It was convenient to restaurants, within walking distance. Close to NAU. Our first room smelled musty, the staff moved us to another room. Nice breakfast, the pancake maker was cool and efficient. Also nice that the coffee and juice bar was open 24/7. The room was very clean.

It's name gave us the impression it had a conference center, but it was only close to the NAU Conference Center. Was not expecting doors directly to the outside. Thought it was overpriced for the facility but would imagine it being next to the college and being downtown increased the price.

Nice place to stay, staff is rather engaged just enough to serve keys and help, but not a kind of asking "where you are from, what do you want to visit" I don't expect special treatment, but as tourist in other places I got some hints and helpful guides I was not aware I should asked :D But that is rather an advice than complaint. It is rather loud when people walk outside - but that the way it was build. Breakfast - awesome for what usually you get (coffee and tarts) so the stay cost me more than at other places - but after few pancakes, yogurt, fruits + something cake we took away - we save on lunch for sure :D The paint and walls looks ugly as hell.

The front desk clerk, Celeste, was very attentive, professional and thorough in giving us information about our stay. Our room was very clean (even the bath tub! beds & pillows were extremely comfortable!

The price seemed a little high but was better than most places in town, especially for the cleanliness. There were renovations going on and there was a lot of jackhammering in the morning around 930-10am. They were renovating the laundry room so definitely a temporary project, and if you’re an early riser, this won’t bother you a bit!

I stayed here last summer, again on my way to New Mexico and then on the way back to California for a total of 3 times/4 nights. This review is for the 2nd time on Jan 8th. Super clean, very nice and helpful staff on all accounts, charming well-decorated rooms and super comfy beds. The first time I stayed there, I remember thinking "Wow" when I walked in cause SO much nice than an average motel in Flagstaff. Little dining area/fridge/microwave. And they let me bring my pet and didn't gouge for the fee on that. There are 2 greenbelt areas where you can walk your dog. It is an amazing location, and tons of restaurants very close by. Gas station right across the street, accessible to the 40 and downtown area. There is an excellent Indian restaurant right across the street, a 3 minute walk max.

Only negative for me was the internet was not great. Not the fastest and dropped several times and had to re--sign in sometimes many times if I was using it for a longish amount of time. Not a deal-breaker. This is still by far my fave place in Flagstaff, better than many places much more expensive than it.

This is a lovely hotel. Totally exceeded my expectations. This is the second motel 8 that we have stayed in and you can't compare the two!! Immaculately clean with everything you could need for your stay. Even a message in the bathroom saying that if you have forgotten something, just to call the reception and they will replace it for free. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated. the lady at the reception was equally lovely! I would totally recommend this hotel....not like other super 8 establishments!!

This hotel needs renovation done. Although the facilities inside the room we adequate, interiors are old. Their breakfast includes pancakes and hard boiled eggs which is a plus. Eggs were store bought and cold, so warming them a bit would be good. This hotel is located in the central location of flagstaff and pretty close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Hard boiled eggs were really cold. Room interiors were old and dated, a renovation would help the hotel get more tourists.
