Comfort Inn Fountain Hills - Scottsdale

I have stayed at Comfort Inn's and this was a nice one. I thought the place was clean and in good condition. I liked the beds. I liked the pool area and jacuzzi. The breakfast was good but I liked the Denny next door - very convenient! There was lots of parking spaces. The location was great! It was very clean!

I thought the toilet could be upgraded. It was an older toilet. I thought the hotel could use a good paint job - inside and out. I felt it needed to look brighter. Brighter lighting and brighter paint would do wonders!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I love having a microwave and fridge! Location great for accessing the Salt River. Staff very friendly!

Breakfast was okay. I would have liked a real 100 percent juice option. The eggs ran out and nobody refilled them. The pool was beautiful but closed at 8:00 which felt really early. I enjoy some evening hot tub time! 9:00 would be better!

I wasn't expecting eggs & sausage and waffles. I thought it was going to be bagels and sweet breads with coffee, tee and juice. So I was very pleased.

If I could have my way I prefer a walk in shower, there bath tub was a bit high. Also they need to remember if they are going to provide coffee & tea in the room they need to also provide cups for the coffee.

Breakfast was definitely nothing special or regular waffles the fake eggs and sausage but it was doable

Our room face the pool but one other guest got in it they were loud and it was annoying but she really can’t help that

The breakfast was amazing! Loved the biscuits and gravy! Definitely still be back!!

Wish there had been juice to go with the breakfast. Closing the pool area at 8 pm was the only real down fall. I like to swim at sunset as I burn plus I am a smoker and we had to sit front. Thankfully the night guy was nice and let us smoke in the smoking area the last couple of nights.

Given the restrictions imposed upon them by COVID, the breakfast was fine. Comfortable, firm mattresses, clean room, and a well-maintained property. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

The closet system was the least functional thing I have encountered. Additionally, very little space to store clothing -- two drawers (that were on the small side) under the TV. The room would have benefitted from more space for clothing. Finally, they need a better system for ice. When it was 95 degrees outside, and no ice was dispensed from the one ice machine that was plugged in, the hotel should plug in the OTHER machine.

Clean, staff was easy to work with. Room was fairly large

It's a small gripe. There's no trash can at back doors to put dog waste bags in. I don't like walking through the lobby with them, so I use the back doors.

Upon arrival was told $200 fine for smoking in room, we don't smoke, charge for any damages, $200 charge if any pets in room, our pets were boarded. Then followed us around while having breakfast. Just a little strange.

Breakfast was ok, nice that is provided

I would of liked more towels and room service. Had to ask for another trash can as we only had one small one in our room. We were provided with one right away.

This place is very comfortable and very clean

Everything was great check in was pretty quick, but the elderly man was kind of rude, but still was professional
