Rooms were wonderful. Very clean and spacious. Multiple pools on the grounds were awesome.

The only downside we saw was that the water park was really geared towards older kids. Our girls are 6 and 9. Our 6 year old is petite and while she's a strong swimmer she wasn't able to go on any of the slides at the water park. The pools and lazy river were great, but she ended up feeling quite left out. Idk that I would recommend for kids under 48" if you're traveling with both smaller and bigger kids

The Arizona Grand Resort is a great resort for families. The Oasis has something for everyone- from 8 story water slides to a splash pad for the littles. The rooms are spacious and very nice and the staff is kind and very accommodating. They will take you in a golf cart to either one of their restaurants located on their property.

The food at The Oasis is way overpriced and everything comes a la cart. They check your bags on your way in and you are not allowed to bring any of your own food or drinks in. A fountain soda is $7.25-$8 and non refillable. French fries are $10. Prices increase from there. Our 9yr old daughter was tall enough to go on the water slides one day and not the next, so that was extremely disappointing. She was definitely tall enough and we would never let her do anything that compromises her safety.

Absolutely loved our room, the proximity to the pool and ice machine was fantastic. The space of our suite was beautiful and we loved having the space to spread out. The beds were as comfortable if not more than what we have at home, the temperature within our room was perfect for the increasing heat of Arizona. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and we loved our time at Oasis. There was something for all ages and plenty of activities to keep our teens occupied.

Small adjustments we would suggest-add the shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispensers in the shower and maybe coat the brick around Oasis as to keep little toes safe from burning. The parking situation is slightly inconvenient for the rooms over by area 15 on your map.

The staff are amazing. Hands down the exceptional part of this resort is its people. I am a new mom with a 22 month old. I had all types of unexpected things come up that the staff helped me out with. They were all genuinely nice and can't thank them enough. Also, thank you to the Oasis staff and life guards. My partner's daughter had a rough time coming out of the smaller water slide, and a dozen people bolted over to her in seconds. Overall, a safe fun place for kids and new mom's!

The hotel room itself was very functional for us. But little things like hair from a prior guest was on the spare blanket, to not getting room service at all the entire time we were there, were a bummer.

We finished our National Park Adventures at the Arizona Grand after hiking in Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The Bellman and front desk staff were welcoming and informative, the property is meticulously maintained and impressively appointed. The oasis water park was so much fun for my family of 4 teenagers and our room at the Canelback suites offered plenty of space. Pools and hot tubs, along with fresh pool towels abound. Gym and locker room clean and spacious with an adjoining adults only poop. We didn’t get to golf but the course looked beautiful. Do yourself a favor and book a getaway here!

Food and drink on the expensive side ($18 chicken fingers at the Oasis, $22 per person breakfast in lobby)

The Resort was incredible, beautiful and met all of our needs...which was an awesome room and the water park, plus good food on site. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable ad well as being nicely located to the water park. The water park was awesome and my kids had a blast all day. The Lobby Grill was excellent and the staff was top-notch. Also, a bottle of Champagne was waiting for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. THANK YOU to the staff at the Grand Resort & Spa.

Price for two nights was a bit steep but knowing the water park was included made it more palatable. The bathroom was small and the floor tile was in need of repairs.

Our room was roomy and very nice. Loved that it was sooooo close (just steps away) from a pool and hot tub. The food at the restaurant was good. My favorite server was Lisette. She was so very nice and made dining there enjoyable.

The only person/thing I had an issue with was I parked to check in and was going to take my luggage in and leave my car for valet parking. A guy, I didn't see a nametag (he was stocky and had glasses) told me to keep my luggage in my car. I said, "Do y'all not valet park?" He stated, "Well...do you really need valet parking? If your room is close by you don't really need that." I don't care if my room was next door to the office (which it was not) it was in S324, if I'm willing to pay for valet parking and it's offered then I want my car parked and it's not an attendants place to tell me I don't need to valet park. That wasn't a particularly good start to the stay.

I didn't like that the room we were checked into wasn't cleaned thoroughly. We had dirty towels in the bath tub and a pack an play that was left in the living room. Our phones were not working in the rooms either. Our room location was not the best placement. The freeway is right there and you can here it. I just think it's from the old door frames. . It was taken car of rather quickly when I called the front desk from my cell phone. Other than that it was very comfy and nice.

As a family with older kids (16 & 19) we appreciated all of the separate pools around the property. I also loved the property’s landscaping and architecture, it definitely added to the resort feeling. The different courtyard fountains and alley of palm trees strung in white lights were especially pretty to stroll by on evening walks. We didn’t eat on property, but the Starbucks was handy.

The water park area is in need of a few updates. Lawn chairs are worn and the grassy area they sit on got muddy, so it was tricky where to set your bag down. But the lazy river was a perfect way to cool off, and I appreciated the water stations. There also was adequate shade and lovely trees. We stayed in the Sedona building. Our room backed up to the property’s convention center loading dock. The only problem with this is commercial trucks would unload as early as 8am, and one time after midnight. We were woken more than once by the very loud beeping noise trucks make while backing up. When I notified the front desk at checkout they apologized & issued a small credit. If you go, just request to stay in a different building & you shouldn’t have any problems.

That there was always fresh pool towels no matter how many people went to the pool. You couldn’t hear the pool at all once the room door was shut. And we were poolside. Our room had an amazing view and balcony. We have a tv in our bedroom and all the accommodations you would expect. I did make door dash orders and the staff was amazing with helping them find our room!

If you don’t know your way around ask to be escorted to your room. We got lost for an hour. But we also showed up in the dark. But we did call and a nice tall gentleman with glasses helped us with finding the unloading zone and our room.
