The Legacy Golf Resort

LOVED the suite - really spacious, in top condition with all the amenities I needed for my week long stay. The resort staff were really welcoming. I enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant/bar and the pool facilities were really good too - it was just a bit too warm to enjoy it in the stifling heat! The A/C, Kitchen, Bed and Bathroom were all top notch

It would have been nice for the pool to be cooler, but it was 118 degrees outside, so not much to be done about that. The walls were very thin, so occasionally there was some noise spill from the neighbouring rooms.

The reception desk staff at check-in were great to deal with. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

At check-in the "connoisseur" was rude. She needed my driver's license to give us our wristbands and welcome packet, whatever that means. Since I just used my ID to check-in, I asked why she needed it too questioning aren't you the same company as the resort? She exclaimed, "I don't need this, just forget it." So we walked away. We never did know what the wristbands and welcome packet were about. We went to the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday 11/6 and it took 50 minutes for our order to be delivered to our table.

I love how secluded the resort is, but it is very open as well. We had a lot of fun hanging out at the pool and playing basketball and pickle ball. Neither of us golf, but there was a lot to keep us busy. The pool has a lot of seating, and we never had a problem finding a place to hang out. The restaurant on site is really delicious, and the drinks were good too. Drinks are not as expensive as many other places in AZ!

Our room was pretty far away from the pool area (.25 miles). This being said, we were offered a golf cart ride the day of our arrival. Also, the gym on site was not as large as it looked on the pictures. There were a couple treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights, and a cable machine (three handle attachments).

Liked the privacy, location, cleaning arrangements, in-room kitchen supplies, in-room safe, good wi-fi, and comfortable beds. No high-pressure push to join the Vacation Club. My wife liked it very much! We are not golfers.

Vending machines were often out of Diet Coke. The ice machine in the #6 complex was out of ice one night. Single-ply toilet paper--we bought our own. Audio did not work with Live TV on the exercise bike. However, once notified they fixed it, even on the weekend.

Never have eaten at Legacy Resort. Perhaps on the next visit I will check out breakfast and/or dinner. The size of the rooms are great and provide good space for meetings in the suites.

Being forced to listen to a sales pitch after a long day of travel. Not getting details about what is offered at the resort including meals and access to the driving range. I found out from talking to another person staying at the resort.

Room was great, the restaurant was okay, pool and hot tub perfect. The suite has a great sized jacuzzi spa tub but the jets need maintenance. Recommend staying at the resort overall it was excellent and great bang for buck.

Our jacuzzi spa tub in our suite needed maintenance could use it but wasn't at its peak performance. Also there's not a lot around within a 5 minute walking area. Need to have a vehicle.

The facility was nice and comfortable Perfect location A few of you worker really nice Diego is a very nice guy 5🌟 for him

They forgot to activate the wifi. I called reception answered and the lady said she would call me back and never did. The night before I received a message to remind me of my departure and let them know that I would leave at 5:30am and they told me that they would be ready with everything for my check-out and it turns out that no one was there until 6am. they made me waste my time for nothing

The facility was clean, spacious. The golf course is world class. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The bar and grill was okay but the availability of Canadian whiskey was lacking. Lol, not a Crown Royal fan. I would visit again.

Could have used a small convenience store with more grocery than the usual 7-11 stuff. BBQ's could be closer to each unit. They might get used more if there were two per Casita. The courtyard in the middle would be the area where I would locate them. No real complaints at all though, just an opinion. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were spacious and had all the comforts of home, still with a vacation feel. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was amazing! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Just a small inconvenience; no elevators. So it was a little difficult lugging all our luggage upstairs to the second floor. But it was so worth it once we were in our room.

I liked the amenities, such as the pool, shuffleboard, hot tub etc. the resort overall is kept fairly neat and has a great atmosphere. The staff were great, and although it is a very laid out resort, we didn’t mind the layout. Loved the little groupings of buildings.

The adults only hot tub was under repairs for the duration of our stay.. which would have been nice to use. We also were disappointed the pool bar was never open. Having some hours for it would have been nice. We were confused on why we never had housekeeping.. it was never told to us that it wasn't a service, so it was a little disappointing. The hot water took a while to come on, for all the taps in our room.
