Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa

Room is spacious. It has 2 double beds and a sofa bed which were very comfortable. It has a very nice bathroom. It has a mini refridge inside. I didn't hear any noise from outside. My friends and I had a restful night.

No microwave. The bottled water inside the room is very expensive, it's like $5 a bottle. Building looks and smells old. The hotel's restaurant we went to stinks; there were bugs and flies. My son did not enjoy his food because he saw the bugs and flies. :-) Pool water looks green/cloudy so we didn't go swimming.

The room and grounds were beautiful. Close to many shops and restaurants. Comfortable furniture and bed. Staff was helpful and welcoming. In all a very nice experience and we will visit again.

It was the little things including no refrigerator, resort fee included things not available (valet) or not needed (local phone calls? Everyone has cell phones and who plays tennis in 100 degree temps). The tv remote did not work for both tvs. Room was not serviced the 2nd day had no coffee.

I missed the restaurant, spa and music in the bar area!

We were upgraded to a larger room, VERY nicely decorated, super comfortable bed with nice couch and TV area. Nice deck which we didn't use due to the extreme heat during our visit. The bathroom and vanity area was just great. Nice small room refrigerator. Probably the most awesome feature was the thermostat controlled a/c....so much better than a window unit found in motels. The room service menu and service were also wonderful.

Customer service was a bit of a problem. There were several times I called to check in early and they immediately placed me on hold without letting me speak. I waited 25 minutes to speak to someone only to tell me they'll try their best. The front desk staff didn't seem that friendly when I checked in. The instructions to get to my room was very brief. They didn't let me know what other amenities were available to me. I had to find out on my own. While I was there, I went to the bar and it was half staffed. I ordered a drink and had to wait 10 minutes for them to call someone to find the ingredients. I ended up ordering another drink.

The only reason this hotel doesn't get a perfect score is because not a single bottle of water in the room is complementary. They charge you 5$ for a fiji bottle "the worlds finest water" that you'll end up using in the provided "worlds most mediocre coffee machine". It make no sense, dont be a snob, dont make me carry à case of water to the room the next day and give water bottles. That's my only pet peeve. Otherwise, This hotel is great!

location, grounds, are stunning. beautiful views of the mountains and sunsets. close to a horse stable and many restaurants nearby. room was large but had to be changed from my first room. tennis and pools were great. some of the staff very helpful and nice.

Due to the pandemic they were understaffed and so some services were not available. However the rates remained high and I didn’t feel this was a good value. some of the staff were excellent and very helpful, others not so much. when I asked for help to take the bags to my room I was told no one was available, until I insisted and they then sent someone. after a seven hour trip to get here from New York this was not what I was expecting to hear. The first room I was taken to was a bit dark and did not have any natural light. the bathtub was leaking here as well. they offer a tour of the grounds and of the chefs garden, but no one was available in the times I requested—and I was there 6 night. Again this was offputting as it shows they don’t strive to put the interests of their guests first.

The rooms were spacious and cozy. The front desk staff and bar staff were very patient, accomodating, helpful and friendly. The property, although old, is very well kept and charming. "Lisa", waitstaff at Gold Restaurant, was very professional and helpful.

The male receptionist at "Gold" restaurant was very uptight and unfriendly. Perhaps he needed instruction on how to interact with hotel guests.

We always enjoy our stay in Tucson. The Spa Resort is a nice place to stay.

I would suggest replacing the chair at the desk in our room. I'm 6'4" and I felt like I was sitting in a fox hole. Your staff in general was very helpful. However, we notice a decline in the quality to the menu. In the past we have had friends join us at the resort for meals and time to relax together by the fire pits and lounge areas.

Absolutely lovely property with mountain view, pools, and a humming bird garden. We even had our own outdoor hot tub to watch the stars. Staff was very helpful in making recommendations for an excellent area restaurant.

Room service menu online was not accurate and there was no info in the room. Ultimately had to have a menu delivered to our room before we could order. But the staff was responsive, so not really a big deal.
