Best Western Golden Key

It was really close to the venue we needed to go to, the room felt really cozy and inviting, my kids really enjoyed it, the staff were really friendly, welcoming and accommodating (we needed to check in early, and Martha found us another room and also waived an early check in fee), there was the convenience of having soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels, had the option for continental breakfast, check in was really easy and they offered fresh baked chocolate chip cookies upon arrival! It was so convenient location wise, that a large group of other family members ended up staying there, too, that we found out about by accident…they were just a couple of doors down.

I can’t say that there was really anything we didn’t like. Everything was great!

I loved my room and bed was so comfortable and big, I loved how there was so many food options in walking distance. The staff were so sweet, my room was spotless and clean that bed was just what I needed after working a long shift as a travel nurse.

the parking lot isn’t big enough, I booked during a wedding weekend and when I got off from my job to come back to my room it was hard to find a spot but I was able to, it was just a tight squeeze and long walk to my room but just was kind of a hassle. but this is me trying to find something to complain about, my stay was really great and I’ll be staying again for sure.

Staff contacted me immediately after booking informing me that the description on Booking.com made it seem like only smoking and rooms for animals were available when non-smoking, non-animal rooms were available at the same rate. This courteous follow through allowed us a better suited room . Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, the attendant again, very friendly and helpful.

Wished I could have stayed an extra day so I could have enjoyed the pool and outdoor lounging area.

I enjoyed my stay. The room and facilities were kept clean. The staff were beyond accommodating. I loved the hot tub and pool amenities. It was quiet with no disturbances. Thanks again for having me!🙏

So, there wasn't much of anything that I didn't like. The only thing I had a tough time with were the mattresses. Mine was a firm mattress and I'm used to a soft one. So the first night, I spent a lot of time trying to adjust. The next couple of days it was fine.👍✌️🙏

Room was large and clean. The heater was on when we arrived and that was very welcome as it was very cold and stormy outside. The bed was comfortable. The channel selections on the TV were very good.

Breakfast was okay. Fairly good selection of items. I thought the waffle maker could have been set a little higher or else the length of time good have been extended. My waffle was not cooked all the way through. My wife thought the hard boil egg had an taste to it that was just a little off.

Great pool, good breakfast, amazing staff. Great location with tons of food options near by.

That "workers" were under family vacation people. I had my grandkids in my room and that disturbed the person below me because he worked at midnight. The kids are all under 3 and it was 2 in the afternoon, I get people have to work but I also want to enjoy my vacation without worrying about that.

Breakfast was fine but not exceptional. There were a range of choices, some fresh items. Eating area very clean and well set up. Better than most franchises I've tried.

A small thing. . .it appears that contractors are living at the BW Golden Key. They leave early in the morning and tend to drive heavy trucks that are loud enough to wake others when they start up. Perhaps contain these folks separately, say, in the back units away from more typical guests.

Everyone was welcoming and helpful, check in/out was an easy process, we were charged exactly as quoted, the room was nice, spacious and everything was clean and worked well. The pool was also clean. The location was close to pretty much everything.

Our shower squeaked a little bit, I think either it's old or wasn't used for a while lol but it worked just fine.

Breakfast was super convenient and met the need to get us started for the day. Thank you!

Their was plenty of parking and the lot was well lit. However, the one thing we found challenging at this location was the small parking spaces. The spaces were quite narrow, which doesn't allow enough room between vehicles to open your door to get in, if you have a large truck or SUV.

I want to give a shout out to Windy. She was so friendly and willing to help. She also had a smile every time we came in.
