Quality Inn On Historic Route 66

The Breakfast was really great! BUT I must say what my wife and I remember best was the spontaneous singing of all the wait staff to a rousing cowboy song being played over the speaker system - the crowd in the Breakfast room was a loud yelping of approval and everyone joining together for the applause of "Free Breakfast Music - as well"! Thanks to all the wait staff for that breath of fresh air! A memory we will keep for years to come!

Some of the closest ice machines were inoperative - I had to walk around - a bit - to find one that worked.

This is an attractive motel with a good location close to the main road between LA and Las Vegas. Staff were friendly and there's a very nice internal garden with swimming pool and barbecue facilities for guests. The room was a fairly standard motel-style setup but was very clean and of average size. I'd stay there again

We had an evening meal which was only so-so in terms of quality. Breakfast was very good, but don't expect too much at dinner. Having said that, the choice nearby didn't seem too much better

The breakfast is one of the best of all hotels, low or high-end. It is cooked to order, served quickly and appropriate portions. Friendly service and starts at 6:30. Las Domingas is a good quality Mexican restaurant and lively and fun bar. The property is dated and not fancy, but a perfect stopover between CA and AZ, especially with a dog. Easy freeway on and off and lots of services, including lowest price fuel nearby. Also can accomodate oversize vehicles. Perfect.

Employees were very friendly and efficient. When I informed them that the TV in my room wouldn't turn on, by the time I got back to my room it was fixed. Their restaurant, Los Domingos, has absolutely fabulous food. They offer American dishes as well as an extensive Mexican menu. Their food was exceptional! Best food I've ever had at a hotel restaurant.

The bathroom was very tight. Could have been bigger.

A very nice motel. Some rooms face out to the parking lot, which is nice and convenient for taking things to your room. Other rooms face the inner area with good lawn, shade trees, and pool, a real plus in the hot months. The Mexican restaurant on site is very good and don't miss the guacamole prepared at your table.Mike This has become our place to stay while passing thru Barstow four times a year.

The place was great for our Route 66 road trip..... friendly staff all round...from checking in to the cleaners....the guy behind the bar was terrific...... nice clean pool..... nice garden area...... we ate at the hotel at night.....the steaks were great.....one ofthe best places we stopped in our 3 week trip..... breakfast was lovely.....well done staff.

close to our travel route we found this place by accident and am so happy we did! The property is older, but very accessible and easy to get around. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast is great! This will be our stop on the way home from now on!!!!

I was warned at check in they were having some ant problems, and in the morning there was some on the vanity, but living in the country, I know how hard they are to get rid of! Not a problem at all and am really chuffed with the cleaniness of the place!

A very good experience. Exceeded my expectations. This is not your Granddad's "Quality Inn". The Mexican restaurant was pretty good, although our waiter needed a little more training. Clean. Seems like the room was recently re-furbed. Complimentary "Made To Order" breakfast in the AM was a bonus... very good too.

Although we only stayed in this hotel for one night and a few hours, it was a very clean and wonderful hotel. The rooms, especially the beds, were clean. There was even a massage sofa in our room. And the breakfast that I had never had in any of the interstate hotels in America. I really recommend this hotel.

We love the courtyard area. Outdoor kitchen, heavily treed, lots of tables, seating. Did not use pool area, but enjoyed pleasant outdoor time after traveling. The attached Mexican restaurant is awesome. Guests get 10% off dinner (food is great), and free cooked to order breakfast. We make it a point to stay here.
