Nothing I didnt like, but it is very old hotel that been standing for decades Theyre doing their best to keep it satisfying for our stay whenever we appoint a room

Since the property was located in a "downtown business area"I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet my room was. The staff was very friendly. Very easy access to the fwy to continue my trip. The room was clean and comfortable.

Surprisingly comfy bed for what it is; pillow top mattress with good sheets. Full directtv cable, fast internet. In-room coffee, microwave, tv. Can't beat the price.
Lighting was fairly drab, faint stale smoke smell even in a non smoking room, could probably use some new carpet and bathroom fixtures.

The rest of the room was excellent! For a "basic", and very affordable room, it had a fridge, a microwave, wifi and a cable TV including a few premium movie channels, it was still a great deal. The walls looked freshly painted and spotless, the heating and a/c hooked well, and the carpet looked new too. My room was small, about 10x12ft., but comfortable. I'll definitely stay there again when in Barstow again.
Nice, basic room, and clean for the most part. The microwave interior was just gross - it looked like something had boiled over and splattered inside and onto the room fridge that it was sitting on. Also, a large, sticky blotch on the nightstand - possibly from a sugary drink that had spilled. Fortunately, it was easy to wipe up with a wet wash cloth. I wasn't even going to clean the microwave and fridge top though. :P

The location was good and it had a working refrigerator and microwave. The TV was good with cable. Was satisfied with the cleanineness of the outside, the staff were very nice and friendly
