Hampton Inn and Suites Barstow

It had a good view and a comfortable bed. Shower was good and bathroom a good size. We also had a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was good.

It was really creaky! The fridge and microwave area made a very loud noise if you walked near it! It would also have been handy to have a hairdryer!

A friend of mine stayed in Hampton Inns as he drove cross country. He said they were consistent with their Covid protocol and always knew what to expect and felt safe. After staying in the Hampton Inn in Barstow, I completely concur. I especially liked the Neutrogena bath products, they raised the bar.

I was surprised that when we went to bed and stretched our legs out that we discovered that the corners of the bottom sheet had not been pulled over the mattress at the foot end. Needless to say, we were very surprised and didn’t know if the wrong size sheet had been used or if it was laziness of the housekeeping staff. That was the pea under the mattress for us but otherwise the stay was very enjoyable. I reported the problem to the front desk the next morning and was assured it would be brought up at the staff meeting.

We were traveling to Vegas but decided to stop & stay the night here. It was last minute, but it was very nice, clean, very quiet & the room was huge. It was absolutely perfect & if you’re trying to decide on food, Del Taco is not far at all, & it’s seriously the best one ever. If you don’t like that place there are literally SOOO many other food places to pick from. Would recommend staying here & coming back!

Loved the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. Room was nice sized and it was comfortable. The food for breakfast was good and they kept it stocked. the staff was SO friendly!

The only downside was the pool was freezing and the little kids wading pool was very gross with stuff floating in it. it was probably too cold for anyone to get in it anyways

This hotel is new and on a quiet side of town. Felt safe with our moving truck and we were able to secure the rooms at short notice, check in late and everything was excellent. Thank you!

The breakfast could use more fresh fruit.

The check in and check out process was smooth and fast. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. I couldn’t believe the bag of goodies the front staff provided for me and my kids upon check in. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hot breakfast in the morning was so great and available very early.

The room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast had a lot of options and really good. The best breakfast we had out of three hotels in the last week.

Found very large roaches in the floor of the laundry room. Washed our clothes and roaches fell out of the dryer. This was very disappointing. After talking to the desk attendant we were only given our fee used on the washer and dryer back.

love that it’s clean, nice area, breakfast included.. and can’t forget the fact that it’s right across the desert where we’re at right after waking up.. Audrey needs a raise she’s helpful, patient and very nice

y’all need an in-door pool or heating pool. respectfully ♥️

We have stayed at many properties in the desertt... perhaps 15 pr so. This was without a doub t the very best in terms of quality (really nice rooms), service (very professional and welcoming staff), cleanliness (they even give you wipes to use if you are not satisfied with their high standards) and location (no road noise at all). Will definitely stay here again and again.

Near several food options. Felt safe, no visible homeless encampments. Clean.

Very small parking lot. They did have a few pull thru spots for RVs but a little challenging to park if you are towing an RV (pop up camper) as I was.
