Travelodge by Wyndham Barstow

Loved my King bed room- so cozy, more like being at someones home. I felt at ease immediately. The bed was soft but still firm enough- felt like a pillow topper was on the mattress. Super, super comfy pillows. Room had a microwave and a T.V.- what a deal! Quiet nights sleep. Great staff. Got my dinner at Tommy's right across the street- awesome carne asada street taco combo dinner- really good. What more could I ask for? Oh! A huge assortment of movie channels! I'm coming back again!

The sitting chair was very stained, but it was clean. But it did not bother me. I appreciate all they do to make it feel homey- not just the basic hotel feel. I really, really appreciated that.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. AC worked very well. Location was great - easy on and off the freeway. Location was across the street from Barstow Station which has multi-vendors for food from MacDonalds to Subway to Panda Express, etc. as well as some general souvenir stores. Gas Station next door to gas up before leaving.

The hotel was missing outside garbage containers. If you had garbage, there was no place to put it. As well, no outside ashtrays. Even though it has some smoking rooms, if you choose to smoke outside, there's nowhere to extinguish smoking material.

Clean, comfortable and affordable

The location was just a LITTLE sketch There were some women walking around at night, and in the morning people yelling and cursing at each other in the room next door. Just a little disconcerting.

I loved the super comfy bed and pillows. It is also super convenient as it is right off the freeway. No problem finding food right next door or across the street- I had dinner from Grill It next door and it was quick and delicious. Check in and out is a breeze and your staff member is super sweet. So quiet at night- I have never slept as well in any motel or hotel.

I loved everything!

I was given a nice corner room, the bed was big and comfortable, the TV had a good selection (once a remote was obtained lol), the shower reached a perfect temperature quickly, room was well lit, plenty of space, fantastic working air conditioning, and it was an overall very comfortable experience.

TV remote was nowhere to be found, searched drawers and floors and everywhere for 15 minutes. When I asked front desk the employee was slightly passive aggressive citing a paper that checked off that the remote was in the room, but he provided a new one anyway. Not that big an issue, I'm just 95% sure there was no remote and don't want to be charged for it 'missing.'

I felt safe there leaving my truck outside very quiet I thought it was gonna be bad but after seeing everything it’s very nice place to stay I will stay again

It was hard to find my programming on the TV

Room was nice and clean. Check in was easy . Room had fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron board with iron which was nice . . Bed was nice and comfy.

Not a lot of parking

Clean and welcoming. Perfect for our one night stay. Great teriyaki restaurant on the corner.

Only negative is our neighbor’s squeaky door at 400 am - needs a bit of WD40

I liked the staff because they are very nice and helpful. I asked them for things I needed during my stay and they were glad to provide.
