Breakfast selection was good. Only thing is if you were not early enough and wanted waffles they ran out quickly and do not replace. Rooms were clean beds a little too soft. We did have an issue at breakfast were the ceiling started leaking on us. Had to move quickly as we were all dressed in good clothes as we were heading to our Uncles Funeral.

Only had a few issues think breakfast selection could be better. I am all for pet friendly hotels, but one day we (my sister and I) we’re waiting for the elevator when the doors opened there was a women and a man that was getting off and they had two dogs one small white dog and a gray large pit bull and it started to bark and the women really struggled to control it. My sister and I moved back to the wall until they were around the corner.

Excellent facility. Modern, clean and surprisingly quiet, given location close to highway. Super clean, room well equipped, quiet aircon and no road noise. Second time passing through Barstow and previous stay in other equivalent priced hotel was awful with poorly insulated windows and noisy aircon. This property has a very nice laundry area and gym, where you can try out a peloton bike. The staff are very nice. Much better than a lot of 5 star places.

I liked everything about the property. It truly was a surprise oasis in the desert.

Easy access from highway - very convenient access to local restaurants and services (and shopping). Beautiful hotel, well laid out. Great breakfast - very nice selections. We stayed at this hotel twice (outbound and return trip) and it was the best of 3 "residential" type hotels we stayed at. Staff was very helpful and professional. Clean. Really really clean. I highly recommend this Home2 Suites (Barstow).

Nothing associated with the hotel. Can be very breezy/windy.

good location and the choices of food close by. the property itself, was impeccably maintained and clean! they keep up on painting and refresh. The breakfast is amazing. everything anyone would need to keep them going on the road! The best thing of all we’re all the ladies that work there! helpful, cheerful and polite. so unlike all the other properties we stayed at during our drive from Georgia to California. thank you

Great big rooms super equipped including all you need to warm up and eat your own food. Very modern bathroom and good beds. Breakfast options were also surprisingly good (although too typical American). Excellent coffee was available at the reception all day. Staff was very professional. we would stay there again.

Avoid rooms on the highway side, heavy traffic is just some meters from the hotel building

Conveniently close to the interstate, but that's also a downside as the surroundings are not very nice. Everything is brand new and very nice, comfortable room, bed, couch, great TV, great kitchenette with full size fridge and all the utensils, plates, dishes, etc.

The only downside is that it's next to the interstate and a big truck stop, so it's not a very pleasant neighborhood. But the hotel itself is really good. It's a few miles to Barstow proper.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable. Lots of easy parking. Close to our travel route.

Two things that were beyond staff control. An elderly lady got confused and thought our room was hers. Then after just getting into bed, the fire alarm went off due to someone burning popcorn in their room microwave.

The room rates are on the expensive side for the aera, and the laundry facility is in the gym this is not good they need to separate the two aeras I don't need to be working out and breathing in laundry room air.

Spacious, new, clean, and comfortable rooms. Comfy beds. Decent breakfast. Location is just minute drive to the outlets at Barstow. Good variety of restaurants near by.

The breakfast food quality can be improved - felt a bit like airplane food (it was also served like airplane food - with the hot, nylon-sealed boxes).

nice that they included breakfast but when I went down at 8:30 coffee was empty and breakfast consisted of carbs and sugary yogurts etc. it did look nice but a quick scan showed not much for me. I needed to get on the road so left with nothing but hot tea which was a nice selection.
