Hyland Motel Brea

The location is perfect for exploring Southern California, easily accessible in a great part of Brea with lots of restaurants and entertainment just a mile away, some within walking distance. We loved the parking — lined up along the curb literally two steps from your door, which makes packing and unpacking so easy. The facilities may not be 5 star, but very nice, clean, and comfortable, and more than I expected for the very reasonable price.

If I had to find something to complain about, I’d admit that there was a slight musty odor in the bathroom, and there’s no ice. These are very minor complaints.

Room was very clean. They are very sincere with the amount of pillows and the amount of blankets you get to keep you warm. You get extra towels in the bathrooms as well. The staff on the property was very nice and straightforward. The location is very nice and quiet with a lot of stores and shopping centers a mile or two away.

There’s not a big closet space to hang a lot of clothes.

This motel is a hidden gem. Great location, clean inside and out. Had a desk so I could do my computer work in the evening. Coffee machine, microwave and fridge. 2 minute walk to a little burger cafe that had excellent food.

The bed and pillows were a little too firm for me. The room is very small. The microwave could use a wipe down inside.

1) one story so parking is easy. 2) small so very quiet 3) area felt safe 4) easy drive to Disneyland 5) the bed was comfortable 6) room was clean 7) fridge and microwave are much appreciated

The rooms are small which means the bathroom is small. It is workable, but would have been much appreciated to at least have some hooks in the bathroom. There is only one small towel rack. The towels were not very good quality. I would bring my own.

The room decor is nice well maintained.

The walls are a little thin so on 1 side I heard a couple arguing very loud(had to call BPD!) and on the other side of my room I heard some old man coughing up a lung throughout the nite. But other than those 2 issues,my overall stay was 5 star and will continue to come stay a nite or 2.

Location is great! Felt safe and clean. Plenty to do near by, shops and restaurants, and if you’re a runner Fullerton loop is near (beautiful 5miles loop) park in the court house parking lot. Staff, only met with staff at check in, gentlemen was nice. Parking was just enough when full, there are spots right in front of your room (5ft). Parking is extremely safe and closed in so nobody has any reason to just walk through or hang out. Room- Very clean. It has tv, mini fridge, microwave, couch area w/ coffee table. We walked across the street to a gas station/ store and loaded up on drinks and snacks. There’s a burger place two doors down if you don’t feel like driving. 18 minute drive from Disneyland, 12 minute drive to Angels Stadium or Honda Center(NHL Ducks). 18 minutes from Knott's Berry Farm.

Room- my wife’s first thought was room is small. It could have used a full length mirror(wife). There’s no closet but there is somewhere to hang your clothes (2 maybe 3suits). There are a few pieces of furniture with shelves to put your clothes in, no drawers (worked fine for us).

very calmed, safe, and quiet location. Hotel room was clean. it’s about 20m away from Disneyland.

nothing really. had to wait for a good little bit to get help for my hotel room to open so that was a little unpleasant but other than that I’m happy about my stay.

Rooms very small but comfortable. Nice size frig with microwave wave. Very clean

small Room, they gave me a handicap room when I did not ask for it. Which means no bathroom door. Also when made reservations I requested to have extra blankets n pillows in room which were not and when called into office they told me Everyone gone for night n could not accomadate

Guy at the front desk was rude upon check in and as we were leaving we asked to leave some bags due to our flight being later in the day and we didn't have a car and the guy at the front desk scoffed and asked why would he let us do that

There was no breakfast due to COVID - but there is a GREAT breakfast place across the street KIMMIES (LOVE IT!!) The location is great close to a lot of things: Cal State, Mall, Freeway access and restaurants.

Longer curtains to BLOCK OUT The Street lights. Also I wanted to check in early but I would have to pay an additional $35.00 which is not bad BUT it only improved the time by ONE HOUR - not worth the cost.
