SpringHill Suites by Marriott Huntington Beach Orange County

The rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel was very close to my job, restaurants and shopping. The AC worked well. The desk in the room was very helpful as I was there for work. Facilities came to my room the 11th when I checked in after 5PM to help me with the TV and the man was very professional and helpful, additionally, I saw him in the elevator later and he remembered me and asked if everything was ok. I appreciated that very much. The front desk folks were nice, there was a lady on the morning of the 15th who helped me check out that was particularly helpful. The bed was comfy but your washcloths are kind of thin and scratchy. I will bring my own if I stay there again just in case they haven't updated.

The breakfast offered was not very good. The pictures on the website made it look great but the offerings were slim and not very tasty. 2 of the bulbs in my bathroom light were off and I asked to have them checked but I never heard anything so I asked again and was finally told the parts were on order. No accommodation was offered. My suggestion is that if the rooms are cleaned every 3 days you should leave enough towels for 3 days. The snack bar is WAY too expensive. $4.00 for a soda?

Loved the location, shopping centre across from the hotel and the 405 around the corner.

Had to pay for parking (10€) and that the room service is every 3 days (not that it’s a problem) but when I asked “what do we do with towels that have been used” they said at the desk, to put them outside the room door. I found that a little tacky cause when we arrived to our floor the first thing we saw was towels on the hall way. Not a good look.

The breakfast featured many more choices than I expected. It was great and a time saver.

We replaced the toilets in our home three years ago (as did most of the family) and they are higher (ADA approved, maybe); so encountering a much lower one was uncomfortable (especially for an old person like me). Also, I had reserved a room for my daughter and family (of four) through Reservation Desk and the original room you assigned her had only one bed and the reservation was for two queens.... Your staff gave her and her family another room.

Everything. We'll definitely be back very soon. We currently live in Las Vegas & visit often so we need a home away from home by the beach & this is definitely on the top of the list.

The breakfast. Awful. I'm sorry but I have recently had complimentary breakfasts at other establishments & for the cost per night (on a Saturday), breakfast could be so much better. Who ever is reading this should go see the sausage & eggs tomorrow lol the bagles were stale & so were some of the pastries. But other then that we absolutely loved everything & everyone. Staff was amazing! We felt very comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay the price is a little high because of Fourth of July otherwise everything else is amazing I did have a little trouble figuring out the lights in the bathroom but other than that it was a great place

I love the bathrooms couch & desks in this hotel, it's a great use of the space

The in room phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk and the breakfast options weren't labeled so there was some kind of egg/bread/jalapeño thing that was questionable but good

Room was clean, sheets, blankets were clean.

I did not like the bathroom door with the bright light coming thru to the room and waking others up. The window should be covered or changed.

The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The walk-in shower was big and the water was hot. The room was quiet eventhough it was on a major street. Because of Covid we were given sack breakfast items.

The location was excellent. It was across the street from Whole Foods and there were numerous restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient for us.

Room space very comfortable to work. The lobby likewise a comfortable area to work and relax, good amount of sunlight. Breakfast is quite good, fresh fruit, tasty oatmeal, eggs were cooked just right and a variety of bread.

24 hour notice in having the room cleaned and the ten dollar car fee.

Comfortable suites with a great location

the complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was very little selection, and even though breakfast went until 10, they stopped refreshing the items around 9. Trash cans were also overflowing.
