SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm

The inn was very quaint and cute. Their breakfast is very well presented in a basket, however, the quantity is very less for an adult. The location is amazing - we were able to drive to all the local attractions pretty easily. The best part for me was the llama experience-you truly feel connected with nature.

There is no internet connection and the wifi is fairly slow. There is no room service or cleaning, even for more than a night's stay. As a result, towels, sheets are not changed during your stay which is not the best experience, especially if you plan to hike and then take a bath.

Surrounded by beautiful nature and silence. No TV in the room is a great idea.Loved the fireplace and the ocean partial view. Great quality essential oil infused soaps and very comfortable bed, linings and robes. Assigned parking and everything was relaxing and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the coffee, gluten free options, delicious pastry and how it was all served in the room. The eggs had garlic in them ( would prefer sunny side up or boiled egg options since they come from the chicken raised on the property) and the fruits could have a little more variety. The fresh squeezed orange juice made up for it. The wine bottle advertised online was discontinued.

We loved the picnic basket breakfast delivered to our door in the morning. It was an egg dish, fresh fruit, and banana pineapple bread with coffee and orange juice - delicious. The room in the Glendeven Lodge was fabulous - high ceilings, a fireplace, and a smart TV so we could watch Netflix after dinner. Even though we were near the highway, it felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Mendocino is just two miles away and has a surprising number of excellent restaurants. The Headlands Trail just across the street provided a beautiful morning walk next to the ocean. We loved our stay so much we booked it again on our way back down the coast. Oh, I almost forgot, we also loved the fresh cookies on arrival and got a kick out of feeding the chickens with the chicken feed in our room.

We stayed in The Cobblers Suite. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. it was right on highway 1, so you can hear cars go by, but we found the room well insulated enough that it didn’t interrupt our sleep. Plus there was very little traffic at night. The Llamas and chickens were fun to be around. The staff were all really nice and helpful. And it’s only a 5 minute drive into the town of Mendocino.

Breakfast was nice, but could use a little work. Their baked goods were the best!

This is an exceptional property in an awesome location just outside of Mendocino. Its newly updated with wonderful staff and amenities. The chickens and llamas are fun to interact with. There is a country feel with an eclectic flair. Lots of hiking nearby and the ocean just a 20 minute hike across the highway. Also, portions of your booking charges go to children’s charities and every time a room is booked a tree is planted. The breakfast basket is super yummy and fresh and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Book it! You will not be disappointed in your stay!

If you stay on the lower floor the upstairs guests walking can be a tad loud.

Our room in the lodge was excellent and the hotel has lovely grounds and is in a lovely area with good walks nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful

Breakfast is inflexible, no choice other than between tea or coffee, and it is delivered in a basket to your bedroom (or to the dining room by request) at either 8 or 9. We stayed two nights, the room/bed was not tidied after our first night. Both these might be a legacy of Covid

The location was the highlight of our stay here! We loved exploring the coastal paths and local villages! The farm was fun to explore and we loved interacting with the animals on the property! The staff were friendly and provided many great local recommendations! My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and absolutely loved Mendocino!

Spa was not open, under renovations.

This was a beautiful place. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, breakfast was great and it was lovely to see the chickens (that you can feed) and other animals too. Just a really nice, well thought-out place to stay with lots of attention to detail. I was sorry to have to go after just one night.

Loved the coziness of the room, chickens and llamas. The property is amazing!

Our wood in the fireplace would not ignite. Was hoping for that ambiance. Breakfast was yummy although the " biscuits" were small and hard. My husband was hungry still after breakfast. could hear people walking/ talking over us

great suite overlooking llama pen with fireplace. nice public spaces and access to ocean hiking trails staff was very friendly and helpful.

breakfast’s could use a little work. choose to have them delivered. one day eggs were super runny. OTOH, realized afterwords I could have microwaved them in the public kitchenette.
