Bay View Inn - Morro Bay

loved this hotel!! ive stayed in about every hotel in morro bay since i was a kid until now and this has got to be the best hotel ive stayed in ever!! so close to embarcadero shops and the rock just down the block!! loved this getaway with my boyfriend. no complaints!!

the parking lot is a bit just first come first served, barely enough spots for everyone staying and spots are about as big as a small car so if youve got a bigger suv,, id stay somewhere else. or if you want a good spot, park your car and dont drive anywhere your whole stay

Firstly Morro Bay in outstanding if you have any interest in nature or wildlife. This motel was so wonderfully placed so close to the bar and harbour. The room was so big. It had a microwave and a fridge which was really useful for me. It also has a simple yet great coffee machine so I didn't need to go out before showering. I could make a good coffee whilst getting ready. There was a good table and two chairs so you could easily eat in your room. Little bonuses were the wonderful aloe vera cream in the bathroom. The family who run the hotel are really kind and friendly.

It was perfect

location is great . walking distance to downtown and Harbor. we had a great view on the rock and the ocean. it was quiet and clean. free parking. fridge (loud), Small coffee maker, microwave. good towels.

we stayed in the summer on the weekend, so it was a bit pricey for my taste, but understandable. the fridge was a bit loud during the night and the cable from the tv were hanging around. didn’t look good. wifi was not smooth. in our room it was spotty at best , my partner couldn’t get a signal at all. all in all it was a pleasant stay for one night. we would come again- maybe out of the season- for a cheaper rate.

We were given a very large room on the 2. floor with 2 big beds facing South, to an open view. Overall, the room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, bathroom & towels all perfect. Coffee maker & frig were clean and well operative. The staff was kind and helpful with big smiles on their face. Location of the inn was very central, on the second street from the sea. Breakfast and dining facilities were plenty in a short walking distance. One can hear sea gulls during the daytime and seals in the evening. We will definitely return to this cozy fishing town and this comfortable inn. Highly recommended !! Dr. Levendim Oz

It would have been very good if they were serving breakfast but a lot of good dining places are in a short walking distance.

We had a nice big room with a beautiful view of Morro Rock. It was a short walk to the Embarcadero in one direction and a couple blocks to the vintage shops in the other direction. My husband and I also enjoyed the small smoking area. Our room was also very quiet. There wasn't a lot of noise from other guests so I think that our room was indeed soundproof as advertised.

We wish that the coffee pot was larger, but we made do with our own instant coffee, creamer and the microwave.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A large room with a table and chairs for in room dining. Great shower too. Location couldn’t be better.

Outside was not as well maintained. The view decks (smoking area) needs new chairs and a good cleaning. But the seagulls are messy, of course. Our fridge had a broken thermostat so it freezes your food. I called the office and he acted like he didn’t know it was broken. I read other reviews that said their fridge ruined their good too. We had an ice chest so used it.

The room was super spacious, shower pressure was on point, and thr bed was comfy. I just wouldn't get a room near the stairs. We are returning visitors to Morro Bay and would stay here again.

I thought there was breakfast when I booked the room, but there was only coffee. However. When we asked the office for tea, they did give us some. I would have liked toast.

How well the manager, the person that checked Us in was always around for any and everything We needed! I like that She was also very friendly and keep a smile on Her face at all times. She made every guest that checked in or out She was right there and that made us feel special. And just because of the way Management act I would love to stay there again and again.

I would have loved a bigger TV

Our King bed room was VERY spacious ( we brought a twin air mattress and had room for 2 more) and I loved the shower. There are even soap & lotion dispensers by the sink and conditioning shampoo & body wash dispensers in the shower. Microwave and mini fridge in the room is also nice since we ended up having left overs one night. Just 1 street up from all the shops so was within walking distance to lots of restaurants. We would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone. And we will definitely be going back.

The only thing I didn't like was there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang up any extra towels.

The cleanliness of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The room smelled good. We liked the mini coffee maker, microwave and the mini fridge. Also the dispensers for the hand soap, lotion and body wash. The location is fantastic because we are able to walk to the beach and restaurants. Nice size parking lot too.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.
