The place was nice, considering the nightly rate. You received a bottle of wine, a daily cinnamon roll, and some toffee.

The people that run this place have some major psychological issues. They have a long list of rules, and you are expected to email them stating that you have read their crap. I received this list four times. Also, the place has you pay in advance and upon arrival, photocopy your ID. This is a violation of CA law, and I won't stay here again.

The location was great and Leigh was so sweet! The website (booking.com) sent me a message saying check in was from 3 to 6, but it was actually 5pm. Leigh called me to make sure I was still coming and waited until after 5 to make sure I check in. Also, the bottle of wine and free water in the mini fridge was nice.

Actually, we got a ticket for 2 cinnamon rolls at the cafe in front of the hotel. The cafe was a cozy one with tables inside and in front. While a bit busy, I was greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. After giving her the card, I was given a basket with 2 HUGE rolls, as big as my hand, straight out of the oven with the icing a sweet messy blanket on top. I inhaled one with a very good coffee - the best way to start a warm sunny day at Morro Bay

Good location! Dog friendly, you get a nice gift bag for your dog when you check in. The lady at front desk is super nice. Another high light is that you get a coupon to pick up a fresh, warm cinnamon roll from a bakery next door. So yummy!

The room was kind of small.

This was the perfect place for us! First off, they welcome pets. We don't need or want ostentaion, we just want clean and comfortable and this was both. The location was spectacular, we wanted to see sea otters and all we had to do was cross the street to the bay and there they were! The management was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The grounds were well kept and the outdoor seating areas were welcoming.

The building itself is older, the interior shows it, especially in the bathroom. Everything worked fine but it just looks dated. Because the hotel is small, all rooms face the courtyard and the management and staff had many discussions in the courtyard (all friendly) but noticeably loud. This is not a complaint, but after hours one evening they enjoyed congregating with each other in the courtyard in a very family kind of way. Like I said, it was not disruptive, they clearly seem to enjoy each others' company, but a little louder than we shy folks might have liked. It wouldn't keep me from returning though.

It is next to the French Bakery with breakfast, lunch, and pastries. Also very close to Stax & Great American Fish Company. We saw the Rock from our room. It's on the Embarcadero near the Museum. Great patio view for a glass of wine at sunset. It's an active fishing port and the boats are right across the street. You are a short walk from where the fishing boats unload their catch.

A small microwave in the room would be nice. The galley has one but it is only open 9-5?. We were comfortable but make sure you know how small 110 square feet is if you like a larger room. One chair.

Close to the beach front and shops. Nice seating area and although we had no pets, we were impressed how well they were catered for by the Inn. Parking area and harbour close by. Coffee machine in the room was appreciated. On check-in we received six different forms/notices/instructions. Maybe these can be placed in an information folder in the room? Despite this, the owner went to great lengths to establish a "homely" atmosphere.

We were under the impression that we would have access to a kitchen. However, it was a communal kitchen that closed at 17:00 and there was no microware in the small room. The cinnamon bun is a nice touch, although the only option, unless you buy your own breakfast.

What a great place to stay! Very clean and well kept. Literally across the road from the beautiful otter family living in the bay (you can see the yellow front of bayfront inn from my photo attached!). They even provided complimentary cinnamon buns for breakfast which were huge and so fresh and delicious. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely come back again and recommend to family!
