Garrett the young guy who checked us into our room was very knowledgeable about places to visit while in Morro Bay. He was very friendly! 😃👍 Great location & we loved the upstairs balcony. We put it to good use in the morning while eating breakfast. We liked the free breakfast that was provided in the morning. We would definitely stay there again next time we're in town. 😃👍
Not much we didn't like about the Tradewinds. Maybe, the room was a little stuffy. Even with the fan on.

Well price a little high but holiday weekend. Free breakfast. Nothing that didnt contain sugar. Better off not offering the free breakfast. Great way to keep local restaurants in business.

so clean .Convenient to the shore.impressed with tha fridge in our room .Bigger ,more expensive hotels we stayed in didn’t have this .Buffet breakfast included had excellent choices . Very impressed with the young chap at check in and also the gentleman who was on duty in the morning .

Morro Bay is a very nice place to stop if you are going from SF to LA. The hotel is well located, close to the beach and the personnel is super nice. They have quite OK breakfast and free parking!
Rooms are not extremely super clean (I’m quite picky with that). A bit noisy if kids are around and the deco is quite 90s

My son and I stayed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day there. I was very close to Main Street and you can walk to it. It’s actually a lot closer than the other hotels for a great price. When I arrived I had ask to stay another night for the same discounted price on Book.com and he was able too. I didn’t have a bottle opener and I I didn’t want to go to the store because it was late so I walked to the front desk and he popped it open for me! They were very nice owners. They had breakfast to go. Simple snacks and juice and coffee. I will stay there again.
No view on the ocean where my room was. No worries they had a patio deck to look out and enjoy.

The location is great! It is just 2 min walk from the ocean. Room is neat and clean, big fridge and breakfast included (3 choices of hot dishes, changes every day). Tesla charger is a great advantage.
