Great location. QUIET!! We did not hear neighbors, (a mom with boys). CLEAN and smelled clean. Great spacious room with older and a bit noisy jet tubs..but they work! Cozy fireplace, with mini kitchenette. Short walk to Asilomar beach. Close to 17 Mile drive, and all other adventures in the area, like the Aquarium, Cannery Row, the Wharf, great seaside walks, and Carmel. Staff very kind a very responsive.

This was my 2nd time in a year. Great spot for a beachy escape. The rooms are a bit tired. The carpet is frayed and we had a torn shower curtain. In general the entire property could use some landscape tidying up. Pull the weeds and it would instantly look so much better. Other suggestion would be to update outlets. It would be nice to have a way to charge phone by the bed, but not a deal killer for us.

Peaceful location. Quiet. Almost no car traffic. One story so nobody walking above us in the middle of the night. Bedding and kitchenette and supplies seemed fresh and clean. Microwave and refrigerator were very useful. The hotel even provided dishware and cutlery. Not good for party animals, thank all the powers that be!

The. Carpeting really should go. Once stained one can never get it really clean. A Laminate wood floor Is much more sanitary AndMany times easier to keep clean.

Large and comfortable rooms with excellent heating. Buildings are cute, set off the road in the trees. A short walk through Asilomar to the best stretch of coast in the USA. The kitchenette, with just a microwave, coffee maker, sink and mini fridge, wasn't enough to really cook with, so we didn't try. It was perfect for a simple breakfast and our take-out dinners.

No real table and chairs to eat at - so we pulled the desk away from the wall, and used two patio chairs from outside our back door. We didn't figure this out until our second day, but after we set it up we were comfortable and happy.

We booked a king Suite and we really enjoyed the separation of the living area and bedroom. Nice and roomy. Had plenty of room for the family to visit and have food and wine social. The staff were always accommodating.

Outside sitting area of the king suite could use more updated chairs for gathering of friends and family. And maybe an area with a fire pit so we can sit outside, listen to the ocean near by.

Comfortable bed (important). Clean room (important). Having a refrig. very nice. Having kitchen sink very nice.

Lack of routine maintenance beginning to show. 1/2" of ice on freezer in frig. caused contents of frig. to freeze (milk & strawberries). Looks like frig. never defrosted. Paint on frig. door peeling with scraps on floor below. Peeling wallpaper taped back with plastic tape in several places-- not what you'd call "first class".

We stay in pacific grove at least 2 times a month. we've stayed in many hotels. I was really taken back at how large the king suite was. It was like a one bedroom apartment. I really loved the suite it had a nice fire place, the bath had jets in it like a hot tub. A nice little kitchen, lots of windows. It was very quite. I saw some garbage and a pair of blue gloves from house keeping on the dirt right out of our door. And a place behind our suite had a lot of garbage and garbage cans, a broom, pieces of wood and just junk. I think some better kept landscaping would make it really nice. and maybe some new fencing as it was leaning over ready to fall.

The property has great square footage. It is clean. It has great access to the beach and is close to Carmel as well as cannery row.

The property has a lot of deferred maintenance within the room. The towel bar was broken, and the tub had a very large ship around the drain that was almost as large as the drain.

I loved that you had actual dishes & dish soap available for your customers! And it was a beautiful suite with a jetted tub.

It took a really loooong time to fill up the tub due to the water pressure. Rusted light fixtures & door hinges in the bathroom. Makes it look bad.

The location so close to the beach. The cabin style rooms. The jacuzzi bath tub. Nice big rooms with ceiling fan was nice.

Stairs going up to all rooms. Did not allow door dash to deliver to rooms. The refrigerator made a popping noise all night and I did not get a restful sleep.

The amount of space is great for a family, however in my opinion there should be a small kitchenette!

The cottages need to be upgraded badly though. I didn’t like the fact that every time i turned on the lamp it moved that was very annoying. The shower curtains were a mess they need to be updated, the sheets came off that was annoying! I was here a whole week with my kids.
