Oceana Boutique Hotel

The staff at this hotel are very attentive. I even thought he was the boss.But after I talked to him, I found out that he is just a hotel employee. The room was small but cozy.

The facilities of this hotel are very old and I think the owner should repair and replace the facilities in the winter when it is not busy. When the number of guests increases next spring, they will not face too many problems. Because they have such a good location and such the good staffes, I really hope their business will be better.

I used to live in San Clemente and this was just like being back at home The place has a cool little ambience and could easily be the subject of Quinton Tarantino movie I enjoyed my stay very much and had the best night sleep I've had in about 2 months

You know I'm not going to say what I didn't like cuz it's really kind of petty and what I did like outweighs it too much But back to what I did like it's close to the beach super great value and it's so close to so many different kinds of food you can walk to every place and the bars which isn't great for everybody but it was great for me

The room was good clean. Older hotel and a bit of a lower end but was clean safe. No complaints A little sketchy but I knew that going in. The clean the room was nice. no problems. Just want to give a real review. I would stay there again. Not the Ritz but a OK place to stay.

Yes the staff that worked with Josh was great the facility is pretty ran down nothing more than just doing his hard work when we stay there it was great the betting was good property was good other than the hospitality from the owners was not.

The staff I like very well Joshua's a great Management on the property the staff that works for him is wonderful as well.

I always enjoy the friendliness of your new staff especially Kristen it's a shame to see her leave on her new adventure. But I met Michael and he seems nice I hope he works out for you! It's always a pleasure staying here.

That you are not allowed to check in until 4. Most people would like to have their belongings left in a room where they go do stuff on their vacation during the day. And being that the office closes at 9 what if there is an emergency in the room after that how do they contact somebody that would be nice to know. Otherwise I enjoy coming here I come here at least twice a year. So glad you got rid of Monica she was the rudest manager I've ever met.

I really appreciate the front desk hospitality and customer service. Reminds me of that southern hospitality that you don't see anymore in California. Refreshing

I didn't like when they didn't turn on the white Christmas lights in the front. Looked a little dark. Still there was lighting but not as much

It was fairly affordable for the area and I was happy that we had a kitchen to use as well. The location was nice, as it was by the beach, and had a lot of fresh air. Very happy for how much I spent and for the location of the hotel.

The price was more expensive than I would have liked, especially since it is not the best of places to be. However, the hotel is located in an expensive area and is a few minutes away from the beach, so I am not upset at all and would consider coming back if I ever have to travel towards that area again.

Have stayed here before and love the place. My checkout isn't till tomorrow and have decided to extend an extra day. The service and staff are great and on the ball.

My stay was too short.

I liked the location the grounds were kept very clean and so were the rooms. I mostly dealt with Anna and Christen. These ladies are golden. They really made my daughter and I feel so welcomed. I definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Excellent price point for what you get. It’s an old hotel/motel with very comfortable and cool character. If you want The Ritz Carlton go to Dana point. San Clemente is in my opinion the last TRUE BEACH CITY left in the OC. That’s why Oceana hotel is so great because it fits this town.

Maybe some soundboards on the walls that divide each room. You can hear everything. No big deal for me though.

Absolutely enjoyed my birthday everything is so close and accessible. Property management is absolutely amazing!! Super sweet n welcoming. The smoking area is so nice and peaceful they did amazing on setting up the perfect smoke area. Very quiet. Everyone is so friendly or either to themself. 14 min away from the beach. Perfect walk. I loved my time there and definitely will come back thank you.

No bathtub in the kitchenette that I got but I didn’t request or ask. I really loved this place
